Decorating flip flops

Has anyone figured out how they are going to decorate either a hat or flip flops for convention ?

I have an idea, but I have to figure out where to buy the decorative items that match my theme idea.

Whose done already ?

Not sure how to decorate flip-flops to show that we are from WGa lol.

I suggested that the 4 of us GTaus wear WG baseball hats. WG has a new mascot (Wolves).

I may go to Cton tomorrow since it is Workday and stop by the bookstore to see what selections they have.

The Pres gets back from Mexico on Wed (thank goodness!!) so we can decide more of what to do.

I like flip-flops; they don't like me

I have a cute pair for the pool but I probably wouldn't want to decorate a pair.

Let us know how to do them so I'll know whose feet to look for.

I have some ideas in my head, but haven't worked on it at all yet. I was kind of waiting to see if the Pistons would win the Eastern Conference or the NBA Finals. Since they haven't, I am going to plan B. I'm thinking a pink Tiger hat (which will actually match my first day outfit, I think) and decorating with pictures of other things from Detroit.. maybe all cars for the Motor City.

This weekend I'm working on the hats my sisters are taking. I did brainstorming and asked other people for opinions and got some crazy suggestions. I think the worst one was my biological sister telling me to glue lentils to a hat in a mosaic like fashion to represent agriculture, or get burlap and some foam to create a sack of potatoes.

There will be NO Napoleon Dynamite anything, but if everything works out keep your eyes peeled for a baked potato in foil with melting butter on someone's head, the mountains and our awesome skiing on another hat, and some various agriculture on the other. If the baked potato is tragic I have a reserve idea to make something else, either cowboys & rodeos or outdoor activities with wildlife.

I'll post pictures for those who aren't going as I am sure my craftiness will be outrageous!

I'm not really sure, lol. The VPR says that she will get the WG hats today (if the bstore has them). I'll leave the decorations up to them since I won't see the hats until Wed.

My group isn't too exciting- we are doing flip flops in KU colors.
