Smile Alpha Delta Pi Regionals!

Good Day Ladys of ADPi.

I once in a while check into My Favorites of The Sorority Genre and You are One Of my favorites.

I see that Your Regional is coming up as We as LXA do every two Years for National and off Years for Regionals.

I have been to two Regionals and one National Meeting and find it many of the most rewarding experiences of My Life.

I found the many people that I met on G C were there and we had a little reunion of Brothers. While this was a small part, it was very important to meet and greet My Fellow Brothers. m It is important to see Your Fellow Sisters from all over the Country and The Many Chapters who have the same Ideals and Beleifs that You do.

The interaction is beyond beleif and the Friendships will live for ever.

While there are many things in our lives that try to pull us aside, there is one common thread, Our Greek Organization.

Have Fun, Have a Good Time, Learn, and Meet Many of Your Sisters!

God Bless.

Yours Fraternally!

Hello, Tom. Thanks for the sentiments. Yes, we do have a conference this summer (Volunteer Leadership Seminar). In fact it is this week! I'm sure several of our 'greek chat' sisters will try to meet up, as we did last summer at our Grand Convention. I wholeheartedly agree with your kind words regarding the bonds of greek life! Thank you!

Warmly,

Amber

Have to say that it was a very good weekend- focus on Recruitment training & Membership Education, skit night from our Grand Council, Consultants and International Officers and as someone else mentioned a lovely memorial on Sunday morning for our recently departed Past President, Margaret Ann Bundy- have to admit I cried my eyes out on that one!

Now we count down the days til Boston for Convention in 2008!

Just curious - how many of us on here were at VLS/Impact/Recruitment Express this past weekend?

I was there!

I've been to a lot of these things and have sat through a bunch of Recruitment sessions. When I first heard the primary focus for the whole thing was going to be Recruitment I thought I would be bored having heard it all before. How wrong I was! It was wonderfully informative not to mention entertaining. Everyone I spoke to there felt the same way.

Well done ADPi!

I was there too and I'll admit since I was originally going to send our recruitment advisor, I wasnt planning on going and was a bit resentful when she backed out last minute. It was a great opportunity for me to bond with the chapter president and RVP and learn so much. Like Zillini I was thinking, I've probably heard all this 1000 times but I was wrong! Kudos to the recruitment directors!!

I was there too! My chapter is within driving distance, so we were able to send two advisors and three collegians (one to IMPACT and two to RE) since we didn't have to buy plane tickets. Our RVP and FRC are both very strong and have even attended Recruitment Boot Camp, so we decided to send two rising sophomore leaders who had expressed interest in recruitment offices in the future. They had an absolute blast. They are both influential in the chapter and have so much enthusiasm to bring back.

I was very very pleased with the recruitment programming - we all came away with tons of new information and ideas to implement. I was worn out by the time I got home Sunday afternoon, but it was well worth it!
