I have read all 9 books of the series. For those that don't know, "Left Behind" is a series of books (I don't know the exact number that it will turn out to be, but only 9 have been written thus far) about what the world will be like after the Rapture, it's a fictional story about those people who have been "left behind", hence the title. I think it's a good book for entertainment purposes, and I know Christians and non-Christians who like (and dislike) the book. I believe that those who dislike the book are concerned because they don't believe that's how the end will play out, however, I recognize that it is FICTION, speculation, and the best way to find out more about the rapture is in the Bible. I think the authors do an acceptable job interpreting scripture and applying it to the storyline, it is entertaining, but I am also concerned with non-Christians who read the books and take it as gospel or become complacent about becoming saved thinking that they have time after the rapture takes place. I highly recommend for anybody interested to make their own decision of course.

This is an excellent series. I am currently reading the 7th book, The Indwelling. I agree that the authors interpret the scriptures greatly. I recommend this book to Christians and non-Christians.

Convinced

I've heard mixed reviews, but I guess I will see for myself. I just ordered the first one.

Thumbs up 9???

I've read about 4 of these books. They're really good I liked Nicolae the best.
I want to finish reading the rest of the series I didn't realize that there were 9 though.

The book following Nicolae is Soul Harvest. It seemed to be a slower read than some of the others. Apollyon (book 5) and Assassins (book 6) will keep you on the edge of your seat, just wanting more.
