Slogans
We are quite in need of a fantastic slogan and here's why.
Delta Zeta at Drexel - we've been small and not even close to the most "wanted" chapter for quite some time but within the past 2-3 years, things have been looking up. Then last spring, to everyones shock, we won greek week. Now since greek week is coming up and other chapters know we exist, I really want a great slogan for T shirts and/or the block we paint. (imagine a sidewalk with 3 foot by 3 foot blocks, each chapter gets one to paint as a competition.)
I feel we earned the right to have a slogan with a lil cockyness, just a lil =)
Send em my way!!
I'm also quite prepared to share
Rush Theme: Maybe she's born with it, Maybe its Delta Zee.
Rush Theme: Party like a rock star. Shirt Said EZ/DZ like AC/DC cause we're the Epsilon Zeta chapter.
Bid Day T: Lucky you, lucky me, lucky to be a Dee Zee (horseshoe)
Banner: What is it about the Green ones? ("pink and" looked like we inserted it as an edit, intentionally. and a pic of the green M&M)
Block: Puzzle with one piece raised. Slogan was something like Why try to hard to fit in when you're made to stand out.
Block: D iamond Z are a girls best friend

I can see the use of it b/c your'e the Epsilon Zeta chapter... but why would you use EZ/DZ, which just perpetuates one of the common derogatory nicknames given to DZ chapters- Easy DZs?

Thank you for putting my thoughts into words. qtrap, I might rethink the signature if I were you also.

Particularly when she admits the chapter is having problems... calling yourselfs easy, even if jokingly a play on your chapter designation, is not going to help.

Ooops
Oh no ladies, I think I am misunderstood.
At my school, we never once heard the term EZ DZ's.
We never ever ever had that rep and in fact, none of the 5 chapters on our campus have a slut rep. Its a small greek life and very high quality.
The only reason we even heard of the "EZ DZ" aura was that I was at a national conference and some other chapter president saw my badge with an "EZ" gaurd and made a big fuss about her chapters "rep"
My chapter couldnt belive it and thought it was funny cause if anything, our rep is the complete opposite.
I'll nix the signature, but what im meaning to say is that our chapter is at a non-greek school and we're starting to go from just one of the chapters to "the ones to beat"

If you want to do something with your chapter designation, maybe try the opposite angle. Espeically if you want something a little "cocky" as you call it.
How about:
Delta Zeta
It's not EZ being Perfect

Non-greeks aren't going to realize (hell, some greeks may not recognize) that EZ is your chapter designation. Nongreeks don't understand things like that, which no one can blame them for. It reads like "Easy".

Keep the message as simple as possible. There is so much going on on the Drexel campus that people are not going to read a long slogan.
I like AlphaFrog's suggestion, but be prepared, people are not going to get it and honestly, you might be better off just sticking with the DZ until you have more recognition.

a little late, but maybe next time?
Front: DZ with each letter written on a star. Other smaller stars are off to the side with single Greek letters in each of them (e.g., A, F, Y, etc., might each have their own stars)
Back: "Some stars just shine a little brighter
Greek Week 2006"

Its easy to grin, when your ship has come in, and you've got the stock market beat,
But the man thats worthwhile, is the man who can smile,
When his pants are too tight in the seat.
