LXA CSUF Brother In Accident
One of the chapter members I advise sent the following:

One of the Lambda Chi Alpha brothers on campus, Robert Ngo, was involved in a car accident while he was on his way to Lake Havasu. The car spun out and rolled many times. He was not wearing his seat belt and was thrown from the car, found unresponsive yards away from the scene bleeding out from his ears. He was air lifted to a Las Vegas hospital and had to have emergency brain surgery done. Clots formed near his brain from injuries from the car accident and is currently in a coma. Luckily, the two other brothers in the car with him were wearing their belts and walked away with only minor injuries.

From what John has said, it doesn't look good. My thoughts are with this brother, his family, and the rest of the brothers there.

Recent incident at Fullerton

One of the undergraduate members of the chapter was seriously injured in an auto accident. Until the California Highway Patrol issues a report, and until we have permission from the family we will not be sharing any information with the public.

The loss of an undergraduate is the worst nightmare for a chapter advisor. We all know that it is possible, but we dread the day when it happens. It is difficult enough for the chapter to deal with, but the added burden of inaccurate or non-public information being spread just makes the task harder. It is tough enough to deal with the media without the additional hassle of trying to "un-do" bad information and quash rumors.

We are all aware of the risk management plan and it has been set into motion.

Thank You very much.

It is always Sad to lose a Brother!

While We may not have known, Him, there were many who did.

sad

I'm from the same chapter as Honky -- actually I was one of the guys who initiated him -- and I can also say firsthand that things like this are very hard on a chapter. My prayers go out to this brother's family.

I said this on another thread, but if we all remember what Lambda Chi Alpha really stands for then we know that our brother has taken his place beside Jesus Christ and we'll all see him again someday.
