Talking BEING FRUGAL!

Sorors & Sisterfriends:

What is it that you just can't see spending alot of money on? Or what is it that you use to spend alot of money on, but for whatever reason, you no longer do so?

For me: Use to buy $10 on up lipstick, now I go to beauty supply stores and get the $1 stuff. It looks just as good, if not better.
- Have a hard time spending $16 on a CD. Sorry y'all but I will get a bootleg copy.
-Use to spend $40 a week on my hair, now I wear micro braids that last 3 months, and only cost me $80. Young girl in the projects hooks me up.
-Will not pay for a $10 drink in a club(I don't really drink or party, but I just can't see it, when you can buy the whole bottle.).
My list goes on.....I've become very frugal as I get older. But it's also things I won't skimp on too.

toiletries...i have found no difference between a $3 tooth brush and one from the 99cent store...tooth paste, deodorant, etc...everything else...i have expensive taste so i just buy "expensive" clothes on sale or out of season...so i guess that's being frugal too

You already know, making car payments is against my religion.

I buy 90% of my clothing at consignment shops. Hey, don't knock it 'til you try it.

I might spend $24 on lipstick, then go to the grocery store and buy generic groceries. Cereal in the bag is just fine. So what if it gets soggy after only 60 seconds.

And I love Big Lots and the Dollar General Store! Maybe I should buy some stock.

I almost forgot. I havta echo mccoyred. Going natural has been a huge money saver.
