Red face Barbecue Meats Linked With Prostate Cancer

I heard this on Tom Joyner this morning.

Barbecue meats linked with prostate cancer

Article Excerpt

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A compound formed when meat is charred at high temperatures -- as in barbecue -- encourages the growth of prostate cancer in rats, researchers reported on Sunday.

Their study, presented at a meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research, may help explain the link between eating meat and a higher risk of prostate cancer.

It also fits in with other studies suggesting that cooking meat until it chars might cause cancer.

Barbecue Recipe in THE LEGEND OF QUITO ROAD

Sister,
It may be risky...but, it (barbecue) is worth it. Check out the barbecue recipe in my novel when it comes out. It includes 7 seasonings (seven is a complete number and despite what the Colonel said, the seven seasonings from THE LEGEND OF QUITO ROAD is all you need) and 3 types of wood. The chapter is called "Making Smoke."

You know I am seriously selling! My motto is that if you are not driving over 40 milers per hour, I will tell you about this book. It is my mission to get as many folks as possible to read THE LEGEND OF QUITO ROAD. They will enjoy it and be better off for it.

Also, if you ever taste my barbecue, you will become more of a barbecue person.

Take care and check out www.DwightFryer.com, then tell your friends that "the worst things wrong with most of us were planted by those who love ujs the bes."

That's my story and I am sticking to it. Be safe!
