Stereotypes
I had 22 people on my line including myself. The line prior had 28...prior to that I believe around 18. Psi Alpha, SCSU is the largest chapter. When I look at my sorors and think about the stereotypes that are out there all I can do is think "that green-eyed monster" jealousy. My line had very pretty girls on there line and very intelligent. I think the thing that gets other organizations the most is the fact that we are unique. Just on my line alone I had someone from Bermuda, Trinidad and I myself am from Germany. We had girls with 4.0's and close to that on my line. We had painters, singers, poets, dancers, etc.... all on my line. We had a beautiful line... and unique, and you cannot beat that. Zeta Phi Beta is coming up....we are increasing our numbers, and you know what, we are not losing our sisterly love, our unique spirit, and our togetherness. At the step show at Homecoming, SCSU, Zeta's and Sigma's won first place, and it was not even the first place, well, maybe it was, that made me smile and feel good, it was moreso the fact that when I looked at the Q's and the DST's, there was an invisible line that they didn't cross, same with the Alpha's and the AKAs and Rho's and Kappa's. Yet, when you look at the Blue and White Family, they were just that, a family intermingled with each other. They were not aloof, a part, or distant. We were hugging each other, we are the family away from home. We are each other's staff, we lean on each other when we are happy or sad...We are there for one another, we are the closest organization there is. No-one can beat that. So if any woman or man want to join an organization for family and togetherness, I don't understand why they would pledge anything else other that Zeta Phi Beta Sigma. I love the blue and white family. I really do...
