Did anyone watch Love Monkey?
I thought it was pretty good getting to view life from a guy's perspective. I was surprised to see quite a few "movie stars" (Larenz Tate and Judy Greer (the girl that's in a ton of movies but no one ever knows her name: 13 going on 30, What Women Want, The Wedding Planner, etc).
Was the tall blond guy meeting a guy on a date at the end of the show? Just checking wasn't sure, anyway he's cute.

I saw it and loved it. Substitute the NYC single guy for LA Single girl and it could be literally all about MY life right now. lol So I felt like it justifies us mid to late 30s people who put our careers first now find ourselves our age wondering what the hell happened.
I hope it did well in the ratings and/or CBS gives it a chance cause its a good show w a good cast.
Not sure if it was the ex baseball player character bringing flowers to another man or not but seems like it was cause all the other shots were of the main characters...
(ETA: felt i should clarify that I still have a job. lol. And technically (but perhpas not literally?) still have a boyfriend, even if he is completely unworthy right now. Or right, THAT particular thing WOULD make me like the characters on the show. Damn. lol)

Mid to late 30's probably means 33-39. Not sure haven't reach the 30's yet.

Nope. You can totally be inbetween.
Oh and I loved the pregnant sister's "i am going to be a horrible mother I would so kill for a bottle of vodka or valium" line. For some reason, that just made her real to me.

yeah. I watched it. I liked it alot. Not sure if I love it yet though. I probably will since I was a big fan of ED, High Fidelity, and probably a lil of Jerry McGuire.
Kind of saw it coming that the athlete guy was gay. Just like how Steve had a gay frat brother in Kappa Epsilon

I'd say 37 is inbetween and maybe 36. and if you're in between those two ages, you're definitely inbetween.
I thought the Ed/Tom character was supposed to be 37 but I don't remember where I read that.

Hmm I would say that 37 is late 30s.
If you want to create 3 categories:
Early 30-33
Mid 34-36
Late 37-39
If you want to create 2 categories:
Early 30-34
Late 35-39

I think 37 is late 30's, since it is on the right side of the middle spectrum.

I was watching the show while cleaning up the kitchen, so I missed some parts. Was the ex-ballplayer who gave the roses to the guy at the end of the show the same guy that was supposed to be seeing Ed's best girl friend? (Yeah, I know his name isn't Ed in this show, but he'll always be Ed to me. ) She looked sad going into her house at the end of the show and I coudn't figure out if it was because of him or because maybe she likes Ed but he only thinks of her as a friend. Clarification please? Thanks!
