promoting...

Hi i'm a member of a local sorority at Ithaca College. Well, technically social greek life is not accredited by the college, only academic and music fraternities are. Currently there are 2 fraternities and 2 sororities and i'm a member of the Little Sisters of one of the frats. Tech. one of the frats was able to stay national (Phi Kappa Sigma) when Ithaca declared no national and then no social frat life on campus. Our numbers are small (for all of us) so my question to all of you is how do you suggest promoting our sorority on campus? Currently, we have 5 actives, 3 who are graduating this spring and we have two rushes (who will be initiated soon, we can't wait to have them as sisters). It's hard for all of the greeks to put their names out there because we can be judicially referred on campus for soliciting. So it's kind of a sticky situation. One idea i have suggested to my pres. is that we throw an all greek party, meaning we put all of the greeks letters on a flyer and throw a party at one of the clubs/bars downtown. that way its easy on everyone's treasury and it helps promote all of us. Also, since we do have to be so secretive, it allows all of us to actually meet who else on campus is part of a social frat. Any ideas would be wonderful. THANKS!
