I'll see where this thread will head before I close it. However, it will be edited, because the latter question has been polled. You will find it here:

Clarification: Are you asking about an age LIMIT or an age MINIMUM?

I guess what I'm asking is do you think after a certain age that some people are to old to pledge undergrad; example person is 26 wants to cross undergrad ; do you think that person is to old, are do you think they will be able to fit in.

Depends on the person. And many commuter schools tend to have older students and thus older prospects.

Question Confused...

I am confused by your question.... What is there that one needs to "fit in" with?

Are you asking for personal edification? Or is this just a general question? How old do YOU think is "too old?"

I think each chapter knows its campus best, therefore I don't think there should be a national age limit or age minimum. That does NOT mean that I don't think a Soror could legitimately consider an applicant's age when voting.

I think it depends on the person and the chapter. Do you think this is why you received a letter of regret?

I don't think we need to get into that (why she feels she was rejected). ETA: IF she was rejected.

Just know that age AIN'T nothing but a number. The number you need to be concerned with is being in the number of candidates who receive enough favorable votes.

We'll end this discussion here. Enough information has been provided for future reference. I tried to find a thread that dealt with this, but I could not. I used all kinds of search words. So, next time, if the issue of age comes up, we will have a point of reference.

Thanks.

Soror Exquisite5,
You were about to take it to another level.
