Craft/Program Ideas for meeting?

Some members of our Mother Chapter and National Board are coming to our next business meeting and we want to have a fun program or craft to do. We don't have many craft supply stores around here and we are working on a tight budget. We also only have about an hour in which to do the craft or program. Does anyone have any ideas?

Go to hgtv.com or about.com. They have great links to various crafts. I'm thinking perhaps silk ribbon roses made with french wired ribbon. Most stuff you can order online ie joanns.com if you don' have joann's, michaels, acmoore near you/

Something really simple and easy would be to decorate picture frames. It's as simple as going to a dollar store and picking up some inexpensive wooden frames. And then going to Wal-Mart and buying paint pens & paint. You could paint them white and then write your motto at the bottom. A Joann's the normally have small painted wood shapes, if you could find rose ones, you could add those too.

Some thing that is incredibly cheap to make are pin pillows. Buy a few yards of flannel and some filling. Cut out a bunch of 2.5x2.5 inch squares, sew & stuff 'em. It's really easy and inexpensive. I just did this. I spent 8 dollars and was able to make 20.

There are a bunch of ideas in this thread as well: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...threadid=58354
