ok.. so the forrest gump thing did not work out!

we are now doing space jam... and i need major ideas... such as that awesome feather idea, oh my gosh, too cute!!! thats what them awesome adpi's are all about.

to give you and idea, we wear gloves, and its a mixture of a fraternity and a sorority, whom dress up, and can only have two props... ok.. throw ur ideas out!!! love yah.

ETA: Obviously, y'all need Michael Jordan, too - maybe one of the guys is tall enough? Or two of them together? I like Mike!!!

Is this promoting Greek Life as an All-Greek Sing part of Greek Week or is it a school celebration for school spirit like a homecoming?

The format of most of our skits involved--

introduce main characters and problem.

Problem/dilemma is expressed in song.

Then, there follows a sequence of dance numbers that take the hero though solutions, trials and tribulations-- there's one dance that is all girls (group 1), one all guys (group 2) and one that is a mix of guys and girls (group 3). not necessarily in that order.

Finally, the progtagonist's dilemma is solved, and the entire group breaks out into song and some choreographed moves.

We were big on costumes, and esp costumes that coordinated for the dance numbers.

For your props-- a spaceship and a basketball?

its called All SINGS , and you cant move your feet, you can only move your hands, we have white gloves, and we have to choreagraph stuff to the soundtrack of space jam...

OK- the only thing I can think of to help you out is a "dance" move- have one person make their arms round like a basketball hoop and have someone next to them pretend they are dunking a basketball in their basket. ha ha- that may be too dorky. I am definitely not a choreographer!

That could actually be kinda cute! If it was practiced enough, and they used Nerf-type basketballs, the guys could "dunk" the basketballs through the ladies' hooped arms!
