We are working again at a place called "Jerusalem House". It's a home for young, African American mothers, living with HIV or AIDS. The age limit is 30. We went last year, and it was wonderful. We had a round table discussion with them regarding how they contracted the virus and how they live with it. We also let them read us their favorite stories or dramatic interpretations. Many of them were so bright and intelligent! We also got to watch their kids for them while they enjoyed free time.
In conjunction with that, we will be holding a Health Fair gearing towards AIDS Awareness at a local mall.
