Why??
As a non-affiliate of any BGLO, I have a sincere question. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, aren't BGLOs supposed to promote Brotherhood and sisterhood? If this is the case, then why is it (from my observations) that when one who has an totally sincere question, they get snapped at, cut down, and just generally disrespected? This is plaguing my mind, and any help from you ladies would be much appreciated......

Yes, greek organizations are supposed to promote Sisterhood/Brotherhood.
I believe there are many reasons that people can be rude when a question is asked sometimes. Sometimes people just get tired of the same questions being asked over and over again. Sometimes, people feel like the people who are asking the questions haven't done any research. And to be honest, some people just have nasty attitudes. We're all human and we make mistakes.
I personally don't get bothered by the questions, b/c if I feel it is inappropriate, I just say so.
Intensify- I certainly hope that this hasn't happened to you in this forum. If so, I would encourage you to speak with the person who offended you privately or email me or Shelacious.

Peace & Blessings
Intensify, it is unfortunate that you have observed these attitudes toward BGLO questions.
I have to agree with my Zeta Ace, my Soror, that when a question is asked that we deem inappropriate, we simply say so.
You should never be made to feel uncomfortable by asking us questions and you should definately not be disrespected in any way, shape or form.
