Question love for Zeta

I know that no one can truly love Zeta unless they have gone through what it takes to become a member. I just wondered if any of you ladies found yourselves loving the sisterhood, the members, or the principles of Zeta before you became members.

I mean, did any of you say "Oh, I just love this organization!" or "I just love them!" In other words, how deep were your feelings for Zeta Phi Beta, Inc. before you decided to participate in the intake process?

Wynna,

I will say that I was truly enamored with Zeta Phi Beta, but I still didn't know fully what being a Zeta meant. I saw a Dynamic, Determined, and Diverse group of women, and I fell in love with Zeta. I have a deeper love for my organization now that I am a member, and I can honestly say that is it growing everyday.

The Sorority's principles, what I knew of her history, the members of the Sorority I'd met--all these things I liked and appreciated about the Sorority--so much so that I was prompted to seek membership. I don't think "love" would be an approrpriate term, even if I thought it was so. It was not until I truly learned her history (and am still learning today) and lived and breathed her principles that I understand what it is to "love" an organization like Zeta. More important than love, however, is the pride, honor and awesome responsiblity I feel everyday as I represent my Sorority to the world.

I can say without a question I did love what I saw...and that included the members of the or organization that became my Sorors.

However, the love certainly has blossomed beyond words throughout my growth as a Soror of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. The process is continous...its a marriage and committment is REQUIRED to fully benefit.

Membership has indeed had its privileges!

Before I became a Zeta Lady, I admired the organization. Since being a Zeta for 8 years, I have learned that loving the organization has resulted from hanging in there during the good and bad times, taking the bitter with the sweet, and sometimes making lemonade out of lemons. Love comes with sacrifice and is easy to do because I find the rewards are great with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
