Bidding!
Hey guys I need Help!!! We had formal recruitment this week and we had a great turn out! There were three girls in the group I really liked and I thought were DZ material. The other day when we were at our first social I heard one of them making racial slurs. It made me very uncomfortable but I did not say anything. We really had made a great relationship before all of this happened and I told them I would place a bid on them and would love for them to become a DZ! Now after what happened this weekend, I just do not think they are DZ material. What do you think I should do!?!?!?

Seriously. Unless you are recruitment chair, you are in no place to tell people that you'll "place a bid on them". How do "place a bid on them"- are they up for auction?

Is anyone else getting the feeling that this chick's really not a DZ?? (or in any sorority for that matter)

"dz"turtle06, did you not post this exact same thing twice before already?
Did the rush mods not delete your two previous posts about the same thing?
That being said, if your post is deleted twice before, there is no need to post it a third time.

I get the feeling you aren't really a Greek at all. Really. Any Greek who has been through formal recruitment knows not to promise bids.
You said you had recruitment, and these ladies came to your social, but you haven't bid them?"
And who says, "place a bid on"?
I call phony on you.

Unless this girl has a really unique way of doing recruitment, she's just a troll. Let's not give her any more attention.

I'll agree I mean I amnot even in a national sorority, I am only in a local sorority and I know not to pull any of the promising, and "placing a bid"

Wait, was formal recruitment this week or last week? Because according to this post, you had mid-terms going on (last week)and you were all stressed about that....

Hey... Well, it's mid-term week and I'm soooo stressed out. I have so much studying to do and I am trying to keep up with sorority business and other activities. I feel like I can't balance my time. And to top it all off, my friends that are not in my sorority are given me problems about not making time for them. What should I do to make time for everyone and everything?
