Hey, our CHIO week is different but I'll give you tips on what I've done..
C- Cookies and Candy
H- Heritage (pass down day)
I- Insignia
O- Owls
For cookies and candy it is often noted that you get the number of cookies/candy that you're family number is, sometimes its too obvious so they don't do it. I decorated a cardboard-ish box red and yellow that said Chi O Cutie on the top. Filled it with candy and baked some cookies to put in there. Underneath the box I put my family number in glow in the dark paint
The tradition for my family is to pass down a ring, and we wrap the ring in aluminum foil and then we just crumble alum. foil up, and they have to look for the ring in a chi o jewelry box (also a hand me down)
For Insignia we give anything with letters: car license plate thing, stickers, mugs... I made pillows of X and a horseshoe (hard and time consuming but cute). And of course, cute Big/Lil picture frames.
Owls, we give stuffed animals of owls. I believe I also found things at target because they are swarmed with owls! Like shoes, chairs, clothes.. and at halloween in target they had like door hanger owls and stuff!
And on revelation I gave her a bowl and filled it with pearls and diamonds. Then I stuck a few candles in there and some fake flower carnation petals. In one of the flowers was a lavalier for her

But the bowl is like a dollar, a pack of pearls is 2 dollars and a dozen of fake flowers are like 80 cents. candles are like 50 cents for one. It's so beautiful when lit, and it had a special lavalier for her
Wow, just telling you all this stuff gets me excited for recruitment and CHIO week

Last year I made a lot of things before recruitment even started, just in hopes for a lil....I guess I should start soon!
