US Army Charges wounded soldier $700 for bloody body armor not returned...

"I last saw the (body armor) when it was pulled off my bleeding body while I was being evacuated in a helicopter," Rebrook told his hometown newspaper, The Charleston Gazette. "They took it off me and burned it."

A wounded US Army officer says that before he could be discharged, he had to pay the government $700 for body armor which was cut off of him.

He says that someone in the supply section failed to make a note that the armor was burned as a biohazard.

As long as the army fixes the mistake, who cares?

One semester I recieved an additional few hundred dollars from them, and now a year later they send me a bill + interest that I have to pay back to them. Even though it was their mistake.
