Question Screen Name Suggestions

I was just thinking that some of us have some great screen names and maybe some of the people who are observing are having a hard time coming up with a screen name. So maybe some of us can help them come up with screen names. For instance, mine is a movie twist of my line name coupled with my line number.

My number one suggestion is if you are not a part of a Greek Org but interested in joining one, I would highly recommend that you not use that organization's name in your screen name.

Second suggestion: pick something that means something to you or characterizes who you are. If you're still stuck, maybe you can get some ideas from others. check out User Names.

Yeah, sorors, like we've been saying the whole time...and like I said in another thread: there are a lot of Deltas out there...but the world of Delta is actually small...ever heard of "six degrees of separation?"

My name is my line name (with DST at the end, of course). I suggest people maybe pick a word that describes them...a positive word, though
Suggestions: HumbleOne
CuriousOne
CommunityServiceOrientedOne
GreatGPA
Isupportchapterprograms

I was joking on the last three...but the first two sound good to me.

My screenname is actually my line name. Part of it is also that my nickname is "Dee". I am a number four, just for the record.

Here are some names I came up with:

MissThang
Mirage
Illusion
PatientOne
WalkThisWay
FlowerPower
Pokemon
(color)PowerRanger
Rainbrow Brite
Strawberry Shortcake

ok, ok...I went a little overboard, but just having some fun

Arrow New Suggestions

Also NO ONE should use the names of FOUNDERS of DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INC in their screenname.

2nd if you are not a MEMBER of DST,
then in your screenname, the letters DST should NOT be.

Examples include but are not limited to the following:

DSTwannabe
seekingDST
DeSTined2B
MYRA22
EDNA9

maybe it's me not wanting to believe that a perspective would have the gall to use dst in their user name. that's bad enough, but i find it even more appalling that they would use the name of one of our illustrious 22 founders, unless of course they happen to share the same name. even so, use something different... so, here are my suggestions:

_______princess (maybe include your ethnicity and/or race)

_______one (whatever word describes your personality)

_______2b (maybe include your career goals, not delta2b)

enjoyinglife (which is what we all should be doing)

by the way, my user name is my line name, followed by my line#

screen names

Well choose an adjective that describes yourself, if you can't think of anything else. My name Alacrity is a little definition means strong, poised and the letters ZK are just something I picked... I have been getting IM's asking if I am a ZETA Hmmm, No ZK does not stand for Z Kitty.

Lets See for my Greek Friends, here are some of my favorites

AuDaSiTy
Poise-N-Ivy
ARHOgant
Fierce_OES(not greek, but affiliated with an organization)

For People like me
Ambiance
Alluring
Fiesty One

On a side not, I can't stand names with the number 69 behind them. People are so closed-minded that they will automatically think of something sexual

I went to a women's college and my screen name came from my college class mascot (Red Devils) and our sister class (Blue Angels). Since I'm a member of DST--I go by Red Angel in greekchat.

I've seen screen names for prospective such as: InSearch of and Sincere.

Interested Ladies:

Keep in mind that this board is NOT an intake tool. No offense, but we don't know any of you from Adam (although we could if we needed to), and we don't have anything to do with your pursuit for membership. And, if I must be honest, some of us don't really care, seeing as though topics of membership intake are forbidden on this board. So, we don't really need to know that you're interested in DST or any other greek org. The moral, you ask? You'll only put yourself in a negative light if you use an org's name (or something obviously associated with it) as your screen name.

By the way, my screen name is also my line name.

the411

And I'm Out!

PS: Please forgive me if my post is too harsh. I've tried to tone it down some, but sometimes it's difficult for me to be anything but blunt. Hope no one took it personally or walked away with ill feelings-- that wasn't the intention.

Screen Names

I personally think that a person's screename should reflect something about their personality, goals and ambitions in life(and you should have other goals than being greek....being greek should not be your ultimate life goal...if so...you may need to re-evaluate the situation..cuz something ain't right), as well as just their character in general. I picked my name because I am persistent, determined, and confident in everything I do. I am to 2tuff to settle for second best at anything because I know that I am worth much more than that. You should put it down academically, physically, and spiritually. I don't like to quit because if you do you are only hurting yourself in the long run. Every fight is not your fight, pick your battles wisely. Someone should look at your screename and learn something about you as a person, besides what organization you want to be in.

This thread made me CTFU.

What about someone whose mommy is a Delta? Would DeltaLegacy or something be off-limits? I really hope I do not offend...I am just wondering because I think that in the NPC, that may be considered cute.

What about a general nod towards Greeks, without mentioning a specific org? Like, maybe, NPHCwannabe or something?
