The Terrible Towel:

When you see a crowd of Pittsburgh fans, and notice a blur of yellow above them, that's a Terrible Towel being twirled! When not twirled, they're happiest when lovingly placed on the television showing the game!

Go Black and Gold! Born in Pittsburgh, I am a Steelers fan at heart and always will be! My family is still cheering them on from the Steel City while I'm here in Colorado.

I know there have to be other ADPis cheering for Seattle! Right? RIGHT?

CougADPi & I have a little bet going on the Super Bowl! We're betting $1,000 worth of Starbucks vs. $1,000 on Primanti's sandwiches!

No, really, we have a bet, but that's not it! All I know right now is ONE FOR THE THUMB, ONE FOR THE BUS!!!

Well, I don't know about ADPi's...but you have at least one ADPi Mom!

(I'm still really torn...I lived in Washington for a year, but I'm an AFC girl at heart (as long as it isn't the Raiders! ))

I've been a Steelers fan since I was old enough to sit in my daddy's lap to watch the game! My daddy was such a fan that he had a heart attack during a game and wouldn't go to the hospital until halftime! We tease about a lot of things in this town, but NEVER, EVER the STEELERS!!!

And to sew this particular game up - my ex-husband is from the Seattle area! Puyallup, to those in the know.

Don't judge us all by ex-honeychile...we're actually a quite nice city! Though him being from Puyallup could explain some things...I'm from the north end and really try to stay out of the south end where puyallup is as much as possible!

I have to say its weird that the Seahawks are the NFC champions this year. I grew up cheering for them against the Raiders and the Chiefs. I have to say don't even know when we switched. As far as the media is concerned we've always been NFC, but I know its only been a few years.

Puyallup is not my fave area either--so i feel ya honeychile. Mr. 1228 and I occasionally go to the Emerald Queen Casino there.

Mr. 1228 (the diehard Hawks fan) still hates the Broncos, Chiefs and Raiders! Old habits die hard!

I'd forgotten the Seahawks used to be an AFC West team (I think the change happened when the Houston Texans came into the league, and there were then 32 teams so there could be 16 in each conference).

That *kinda* pulls me toward the Hawks (but since the Chargers were SO close to beating the Steelers this season and I've been rooting for them in fantasy football, I get pulled back toward the Steelers...what's a girl to do? )
