Li 2006

Okay, I KNOW it is only January, but who are planning on going to LI this June?

I am planning on going and may possibly be driving down (though if Northwest still has fares from CWA to Nashville for $200 in February I may forgo the 11 hour drive! But on the other hand it would be nice to have a car to go visiting friends. . . )

As of now I plan to attend, with an extra day or two added in for visiting sisters

I'll be at LA in February with our new chapter president. I'm not sure about LI in June yet.

I will be attending LA in February as well, with KO's new Chapter President. Of course, I am also new so I will be totally clueless. And still am! Working on getting used to my new office. ;-)

Well, having basically done my taxes for 2005 (still waiting on the official W-2s for two jobs), I have realized that I will NOT be able to attend LI this summer. My returns were not as large as I was hoping (to be able to afford LI) and there are other projects that do take priority. Basically I made a LOT more this year than I had thought! *very sad face about not being able to see my friends this summer*

On the upside, because I went to Germany last summer as on 'official representative' I am able to deduct ALL my travel expenses!

Much sadness here, but sometimes life does get into the way of our travel plans!

I will miss all of you -- my term as AP in Phoenix will be ending in March so the new president will be attending. Not to mention, June 23 is my birthday -- the big 40!

Yikes.

I will miss you, too, AOIIGal! BUT, I had NO IDEA that you were turning 40! I honestly thought that you were in your mid-to-late twenties!!! Goodness, you have *NO* wrinkles! Keep doing whatever is it that you are doing, Girl!

Haven't been on in awhile, because life seems to have gotten in the way of AOII in a big way for me.
At this point I would say I am probably not going to be at LI. I'm not doing anything else that week though so that *could* change, but at this point I am not planning to go.

That happens, and life IS supposed to get in the way of AOII at times Hope all is well!

She IS in her late twenties. She was a senior when I was a freshman, and I know I am only 25!

Cool LI June 2006

I will be going to LI this June ... doing my usual puddle hopping across North America to get the deals (i.e., Vancouver by bus, Seattle to Nashville via various small, out of the way airports).

I was hoping to stay a few extra days and drive the Natchez Trace; however, my plans have changed due to an upcoming trip in November-December so I have to save my vacation time at work.

Cheers!
