Holiday Commercials You Enjoy

We have a local (semi-local?) family restaurant chain called Eat N Park. They put out the same commercial every year. They didn't play it for a couple years, and got so many complaints that it's now a classic. Maybe you know of one, too. Enjoy!

I miss Eat N Park incredibly - there's nowhere better to get breakfast at 3am.

I have looked all over YouTube for this commercial, and I know only people from the Northeast may know what I'm talking about, but from the discount retailer Ames, the one with the cooked Turkey jumping off the table and running out the door to get to the Black Friday sales at Ames always used to make us giggle.

I miss it terribly.

I also like the Peter Comes Home commercial from Folgers.

ETA: Seriously? No one was going to tell me that I put Folders instead of Folgers? You guys are gettin' soft for the holidays!

I was just thinking that was my favorite ad, but I haven't seen it yet this year.

The Coca-cola commercial with the polar bears.

I usually really like holiday commercials, but the ones with music from the Nutcracker make me want to commit suicide. After hearing that music for four months for fourteen years, I have no tolerance for it.

Makes me want to un-bury Tchaikovsky and Balanchine and beat them to a pulp with a pointe shoe/candy cane.

I missed a Daily Double on Jeopardy! - What instrument is featured in The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy? - now every time I hear that song I want to scream "CELESTINA!!!".

I love the first Old Navy Performance Fleece commercials. There was one with Sherman Hemsley that I LOVED and thought it was hilarious!

Folgers Coffee

Peter comes home for the Holidays

It's horrible quality, but it's the only one I could find. Did you know it was originally aired in 1982? I'm sure I've seen it at least once every year since.

Damn, that Peter was a hottie.

Oooh, and the Campbell's one where the snowman turns into a little boy. This one's a classic. According to the person who posted it, it's been airing every year since '95: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PdeGx1obvc

I haven't seen this one in years, but my favorite Christmas commercial was the one with the caption "Noelco" with Santa riding the (Norelco) electric shaver.
