Can I ask why I was given a bid?

Thanks for the replies
Im really glad I asked before I did something Id regret.

I'm thrilled to be given the opportunity to be a part of a wonderful support group of sisters
I am excited to create new memories and friendship.

I am also eagar to learn from my sisters, and to be able to grow with them as a more well rounded individual.
I was just worried that my performance at the interview gave the sisters a bad impression on me ..
And why they decided on giving me a bid.

But reading your responses,
Made me realize that they obviously had their good reasons,
And that I was being worried over nothing.

Ummm, that might be rude. Not to mention tacky.

Are you happy about the bid?

YOu got a bid because the sisters saw something in you that they liked. End of story. Don't go asking them that would look wierd!!!

Not only am I shy, but I get nervous when around a new crowd.
So, during my interview I was complete nervous wreak, and really regret some of my responses.

To my surprise I was given an invitation to pledge,
but before accepting I was wondering if Its okay to ask why I was given a bid card?

Or would that be rude?
It would be rude. They know why they gave you the bid, even if you thought you didn't do too great. Accept it and enjoy it or cut your losses and move on.

Adding on to what my Panhellenic sisters already mentioned...

Reasons why someone did or didn't get a bid is considered membership selection -- also considered Ritual in most, if not all, NPC organizations -- and that information is for members' knowledge only.

Please don't question them. It'll only open up a can of worms and may even cause tension for you and the sisters.
