Recent Semi-Amusing Commercials
Ok, I haven't seen a GREAT commercial in awhile.
The Thera-Flu one with the monster kinda creeps me out.
The new Ice Breakers with the Duff sisters and Joey was TOTALLY predictable.
What's happening to the creativity here?

I think the Burger King commercials with the King are hilarious. Those are the only "great" ones that come to mind.

I'm not really talking about those companies that spend $15.9873 million for a 13 second spot in the Super. Alot of compaines before have gotten creative this time of year (esp. early Jan.) to keep their sales up after the Christmas rush.

Even though they may not be buying time during the superbowl, some companies may wait until then anyway because they feel viewers are more apt to pay attention to commercials in the weeks after the game airs.
It's all a matter of when they feel they're going to reach the largest target audience.

i like the ones where they are memorable sports moments, but the result is changed. (Jordan's shot over Eloe not going in, "The Catch" being dropped, etc.) Pretty entertaining....
I think there should be a humor committee that all TV commercials should have to pass through before going on the air!

I saw one yesterday that made me laugh our loud. There is a guy at work in his office or cubicle which has glass walls. A co-worker comes in and the camera pans to the extra chair, where a bag of Cheese Nips is sitting. The co-worker unknowingly sits on the Cheese Nips and there is an explosion, after which the glass walls are completely covered with cheese.

This isn't a new one or particularily funny, but there is a Honey Bunches of Oats commercials where all the workers are talking about their favorite version. This lady in a paper hair net thing says, "It's like a mouth full of joy!" and she makes me smile every time she says it!
Also, the 8 year old in me loves this local NYC area commercial. I guess it's for oil for heating your home. I only pay attention to the jingle at the end "Call 1-800 I've..Got Gas!!!"

The stoner Jack inthe box commercials are hysterical
"Duuuude how many should I order?"
Jack: "30."
"Duuuuuuude. that's what I was thinking!"

My brother LOVES that commercial. He didn't know what the song was and you should have seen how excited he was when I told him.

I love the super heroes commerical with the "Greatest American Hero's" theme song. It is so cute to see the expectant super mom walking her child in the cross walk!

Definitely agree - glad to see Peyton's "non-football" side and that he really gets into these commercials!
