Cancer has been a big force in my life. My grandma was diagnosed and lost the battle with cancer. My mother was diagnosed my freshman year of college and is still fighting the cure for cancer.
Since it is so close to me I felt the need to do something. I did lots of research and found The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All I have to do is raise at least $4400 dollars and run a half marathon. On second thought that is alot to do, lol. But I believe with support from my family and sorority sisters I can do it. 13.1 miles, thats alot, but it will definately be worth it.
Please help me in my fight by donating some money to my fundraising. Why not donate $2 for every mile I'm running. That comes up to $26.20 dollars. The price of a shirt, but also the amount it takes for a cancer patient to get medication. Help out those less fortunate then you.
