Is it appropriate to post listings or pass along info about opportunities on GC?

This is just my opinion, but I think that this board is a great way to connect and help one another out. If that includes interships and job opportunities, then more power to you!

The position is full-time email and direct mail marketing/promotions for a publishing company. There will be database management, marketing trafficking and research opportunities and some travel. Also a great position for someone interested in flexing their writing and editing skills.

Thanks for your interest. Metro-DC area candidates only, please. No MA's/MBA's. This position is ideal for a recent BA with 0-2 years of marketing or communication-related experience.

I have a communications internship opportunity available. Postmark date is January 15, so contact me ASAP. Work is done remotely via the internet and interns receive an all-expense paid trip to Denver for the 2005 CCA Institute, which is a great opportunity to network. The internship is unpaid, though.

My agency has lots of openings in the Social Work/Mental Health field. There are positions for new grads with just a BA or students too even. In our residential programs, the schedules are flexible and you usually have time to even bring some of your school work to work. There are also people I work with who are able to supervise Social Work students. For more information, please PM me. We are located in Queens. I also have lots of friends at different agencies all throughout NYC so if you want more info about the SW/mental health field in general in NYC, please PM me.

Broadcasting Internships

Hey everyone!
I'm Looking for a paid (gasp) television news or broadcasting internship for the summer. I would really like to not be at home in MS doing one, and I go to school in NC so it would be great anywhere else, or there depending on what it is. I'm a junior broadcast journalism major/print journalism minor and I did a radio internship last summer. If you can help or if you want more info, just pm me!

Ha ha! I can make cold hard cash (which I would split with the nurse!) if I refer an RN who is hired and stays for one year. Detroit and/or metro area.

We also have an opportunity for an RN for the program I work for. Psych experience is a definate must I would say, along with willingness to go into the field at times to see clients at their home. The schedule is M-F 9-5. I recommend that the person be comfortable with harm reduction techniques, as well, since many of our clients are substance abusers and have no plans of stopping. Umm, I think the salary starts in the 60's.

Here's my list of demands:
1) Free golf
2) Free food
3) Lots of wealthy divorced older women
4) Year-round good weather

I'm not looking for anything in management or even a high salary.
