Apologies

Hi Girls - Thanks again for the responses. I really appreciate the feedback and did not intend to upset anyone by posting the survey. I have contacted nationals and just thought this might be another way to get feedback from other Theta's like me. I've removed the link and will continue to pursue feedback through HQ.

Thanks again for your time and comments.

Just an FYI to the Thetas or anyone else interested...

This exact same post was left in the Kappa Delta forum. The two posts were left within seconds of each other. The original post from "stacimandrell" in the KD forum was moved to the Mods' Forum for review.

While this seems like a legit venture, because they're interested in using the names of NPC sororities, it's best to have them go through HQ first even though they're just trying to conduct an informal survey.

Not to mention listing the names of 18 out of 26 NPC groups and consigning the rest to "other" is really UBER TACKY.

Precious Moments, if you're serious about doing this, please do your homework first and include ALL the NPC groups. Failing to do so doesn't win you any points with anyone.

Response to Concerns...

hi girls - just wanted to respond to the comments/concerns...

1. First Concern...

"This exact same post was left in the Kappa Delta forum. The two posts were left within seconds of each other. The original post from "stacimandrell" in the KD forum was moved to the Mods' Forum for review."

Yes - Staci is my business partner. We have recently started our own, female-owned business and we are trying to convince our client, Precious Moments to create this line. She was a Kappa Delta at Valdosta State and I a Theta at UK and we are just trying to tap into our respective organizations to get feedback on whether the idea is viable. Thanks to all of you who have responded.

2. Next concern...

"Not to mention listing the names of 18 out of 26 NPC groups and consigning the rest to "other" is really UBER TACKY."

You are correct - our original recommendation to PM was to include all 26 NPC groups. However, 26 new figurine introductions in one year is just more than they can afford to do at one time. However, if the responses are favorable and the product launch successful I think we will have a very strong case for expanding the line. I plan to use your comment to at least show them why we should be including all NPC groups in the survey. Thanks for your thoughts.

26 is too many but 18 isn't??

I mean, I could understand if they only did three groups at a time, but when 8 toes are soaking wet, why not stick the other 2 in the pool?

That makes zero sense.

Agreed, besides how are they going to decide which 18 to pick (or which 6 groups to piss off....)??? No, I haven't looked at the survey and don't plan to.

And I would agree, the whole thing does need buy off from the individual groups.......

33girl i wish i had a better answer for you and completely respect your concerns. the company launches a new line every quarter - typically 12-20 figs at a time. if this line is produced it would be in addition to their current merchandise which is targeted to the market-at-large. 26 would be ideal but i am still happy they are considering the 18. it is a big step for a national brand to create a line specifically for the female greek community and i hope others will follow suit and include all of the groups.

Well I did the survey, I liked what I saw, and hope they launch it. I'm a big collector of Precious Moments and would LOVE to have Theta ones to add to my collection, regardless of what anyone else may think..no offense.
