My family exchanged gifts last night:
- Money. Dad got a new job with a substantial raise so the cash portion of our (brother and I) gifts was also more substantial. Though short of the new cars we both fantasized about, lol.
- Clinique Happy. Very observant mom! She was in my apartment and noticed my bottle was running low. That isht's expensive, so yea!
- nice sweater set
- Stocking stuffers are the crown jewel in my family, my mom goes all out to find stuff. Godiva chocolate, an ice cream scooper, bath fizz thingys, a nice pen, nailpolish, hair clips, a cute little jewelry box for when I travel, Sarris chocolate, malted milk balls, christmas ornaments
- little brother did good in his gifts to everyone this year- I got a bottle of BBW Black Raspberry Vanilla body lotion and a scarf and gloves from the Gap.
- roomate got me a big Yankee candle in Chocolate Chip Cookie, guess it's one of their new scents since i've never seen it before!
- the Ove-Glove (like a glove to use to grab hot things... never seen them before, but apparantly they're much more than a oven mitt). This was the limit of dad's shopping for me. Mom buys, dad pays usually, lol
- giftcard to JCPenney's from my aunt/godmother. Since i'm not a huge fan of the store, it will go towards buying and armchair and ottoman for my living room from their furniture dept.
This is my first xmas not waking up in my parents' house (my apt is now only 15 minutes away- rather sleep in my bed than on an air mattress!), very strange! Did have one present to open- the one from the new mr. kddani (new being all of 6 days!). Got 1/2 dozen BBW lotions in the small bottles and some handsoap. After helping him shop for his family and stuff, I know he's a good gift-giver vday here we come! hehe.

So far I got:
*Some books I wanted
*A few CDs I wanted
*1001 places to see before you die calendar and book
*Yankee candle (Cranberry Chutney scent... yum! I got one for Mom and she got one for me and we didn't even know it)
*My favorite DVD from when I was about 3 years old called "Dot and the Kangaroo"
*Trans-Siberian Orchestra DVD
*Sheet music
*New digital camera with a 512 MB card.... it has a 2.5 inch display! I wasn't expecting this since I got a dig. camera last year, but that one sucked
*An acoustic guitar, which I also wasn't expecting, along with a DVD to teach me how to play it

This Christmas was excellent for Miss SpiceySpice
I got:
-2 bracelets from Tiffany's, along with a key chain, and 2 rings from there...this was what I wanted most!
-A million and one DVD's that I wanted, including 6 Hindi movies which I LOVE!
-Lots of toys for my puppy
-A 16 pc. set of cookware, I don't have any pots or pans at my house so my mom got me these b/c she knows I looooove to cook; plus lots of knives and other utensils
-A bath gift set from Sephora
-Several Sephora gift certificates
-Tons of L'Occitane stuff, perfumes in rose, vanilla, and orange, body cream, lotion, candles...I am obsessed with this store!!!
-Lots of Indian food shipped to me from grandpa...I am so excited, yummy
-2 pairs of Seven jeans
-FCUK perfume and tshirt (FCUK in New York City)
-Some random computer stuff; airline power cord, laptop stand, etc.
-A Gucci watch
-XM radio for my car...this was my dad's idea and I am pumped!!!
-We do a family vacation every year as a present for the whole family...we just got back from our 1st trip of the season to NYC for major clothes shopping, eating out, seeing RENT on Broadway (This was one of my dreams, I never thought I'd get to do this! And as a bonus Drew Lachey starred in it...)...and we leave for our 2nd vacation, to Jamaica, one week from today which should be a blast!
-On a random note, I got a Christmas gift from my Lexus dealership which was about the weirdest thing ever. They sent me a Waterford crystal bowl, along with lots of Lexus pens and some keychains...I feel bad, I mean I'm sure they do it for all their customers, but seriously what does a 21 year old college student need a bowl like that for??
Anyway...
Merry Christmas guys!
ETA: I forgot about some of the presents from my cousins

I'm super excited about my gifts.
From Mom and Dad:
-a digital camera, which I've been wanting forever
-a gift certificate to get my nails done
-a gift certificate for a cut and color...blond, here I come
From family:
-my aunt got me a Nordstrom's gift card...hooray for shoes
Mr. ADqtPiMel and I haven't exchanged gifts yet because we've been snowed in our respective houses, but I think he either got me the Burberry Brit gift set or the Coach purse I've been eyeing.

I got so much. Here are some highlights.
I finally got internet access (thanks Dad!)
I got tickets to see that upcoming concert up here that everyone is talking about. It stars Louis Armstrong, Liberace and Jimi Hendrix. It should really be something.
I got 121,840,356 birthday cakes. Delicious but I'm very full.
I got Kill Bill, Volume 1 and 2 on DVD.
I got a pope-soap-on-a-rope. Looks just like the current Pontiff. Always fun.

We are staying at my brother-in-law's in Tampa, and got an unexpected present last night, or I should say two presents on Christmas Eve.
Ally and Abby Brown were born yesterday at 2:24 and 2:25 p.m. Central Time. My niece's mother called to tell us the news.
We are excited, but also a little concerned because the babies are early about a month. One is 5 lbs and the other is 3 lbs.
I'm excited because we will probably go by to see them on our way home next week!!!
