Post Owl Merchandise

Just flipping through my current ABC Distributing catalog here at work, and found a very cool owl candle. (If you don't know ABC Dist. is a wholesaler that you can order from, but it has to come to a work address). Go to
http://www.abcdistributing.com

for more info about that. Anyway, the candle is item #148059 and is called "Moonlight Mountain" -- its $6.95 and includes the candle and cold cast ceramic vase. Very cute I think. Actually the reason I saw it was our manager showed it to me because she is ordering one for her niece who "is in some sorority that has the owl and she collects them" -- I said "Chi Omega?" she doesn't know, but I figured it was a good guess

Anyway, if you go to that site and enter that number (its on page 14 of the summer catalog by the way) - it will show you a picture.

Just wanted to let you guys know....now if I could only find lyres.....

OH MY GOSH, AXO ALUM RETURNS TO THE....
CHI OMEGA BOARD.
LOL.
Hey girly long time no see on here. Thanks for letting us know about the candle. What a neat idea, and resonable price too.
I wish I knew of a place that had lyre logo's and para. but I do not. BOO. Someone should enter the market...they could make a sweep with Greek Gear.
Well thanks for always sharing.
Love ya hunnie,
Amy

Hey! I had to tell you about the owl I got. It's white, very soft and is a Harry Potter owl. I got it at JC Penneys for about $16. After I'd had it a few days I looked at the little cord around it's neck and guess what? It's red and yellow, which made me love it even more! It works nicely as a pillow.

Cool

I love owls!!! Thank you for the info! I especially love the ones that Hallmark makes for Christmas each year- I have been collecting them since like 1990~! I know Beanie Babies is OVER but they come out with an owl -one for graduation each year so I have 2000 and 2001 owls! Too cute!!

I got this shirt yesterday and I just had to tell you all. It was on sale for $9 at American Eagle. I almost got an owl t-shirt from Urban Outfitters (Debra Messing wore it on an episode of Will and Grace) a few years ago, but didn't and then I decided not to get the "29 licks" owl tootsie roll shirt from Delia's last year. So, when I saw this shirt I knew I had to have it.

Here's the belt she was talking about. Very cute! I have seen bags and flip flops with these owls before.

I don't plan on having any little legacies running around for quite a while, but I'm so tempted to buy these and save them. They are adorable!

OMG! That Old Navy stuff is adorable!!! I'm totally thinking I'm going to get some. I am the queen of sending my sisters stuff when they have legacies, so this would be a cute change from the Chi Omega legacy bib. AND I might need some of this myself in the next few years!!!

I got a really cute owl ensemble at an online boutique called Olive & Bette's. It's a long-sleeved pink henley with embroidered trim and an embroidered owl on it. Then I got brown flip-flops with pink grosgrain ribbon trim decorated with little owls. So cute.

The Old Navy stuff is awesome! At the beginning of the summer Gymboree had this whole line of pink and green turtle stuff. I remember thinking "If I were a DZ......"

So, I can't find a pic, but I just bought a Halloween t-shirt from Target. It is bright orange and has a black, leaf-less tree on it. On one of the branches is a little black owl with orange jewel eyes! It was only $5, and I'll probably only wear it on Halloween, but I couldn't resist!!!

So I'm looking online for something and I come across this necklace. If only I had seen it BEFORE my wedding! It would have been the perfect accent! Look close, yes, it's an owl in rhinestones!
