Need help with country song title

It's driving me crazy that I can't think of this song!!! I even emailed 2 different radio dj's but they were no help.

It's not Austin and not One More Time.

Anyway, it's a few years old and was an early hit for a male singer, lol.

He goes to the airport to watch his girlfriend fly west to visit someone....her mother??? Anyway, he realizes that he thought he heard a goodbye??? (sort of like she said it on the plane and he heard it on the ground.)

I'm not sure "goodbye" is in the title but it could be.

Your description is of no help to me and I have been a regular country listener for YEARS.........

A Rascal Flatts song comes to mind (the video) but it doesn't have to do with goodbye.

Well, I was going to suggest cmt.com but they don't allow you to search for songs based on a word.

You could just go through their list of artists and see if something jogs your memory....

Nope, this is getting frustrating, lol. I looked on the site but nothing jogged my memory. Maybe it is a group..oh well, will check another time.

Was it the one where she gets on a plane and it crashes but she had sent a postcard from the airport which said "Heaven" on it?

Can't think of any others about Goodbye by male artists.
