I think I played that game more than anyone else I know. Probably cos we lived far away from any other kids and we only had 1 car.
Did anyone ever play it on disk with a faster computer then every day went by in the blink of an eye? Also animals moved in fast motion when you tried to kill them.
It bothered me you could only bring back 100 lbs at a time. Why can't you just ask help from other members of your party? Lame-o.

My husband and I just played I think this was the first time either of us ever made it to Oregon and no one died. We were so excited we were cheering!! The only thing that stunk was I never got a chance to shoot any food. I remember this game exactly the same, but not in color...on the original Apple 2 green screen.

Another favorite of mine was Number Munchers; you travelled around this board "munching" the right answers to math questions, but you could be munched by these goblin things.

Me and my second-grade rival used to have show-downs with number muchers. We could both do the addition and subtraction pretty quickly but he was so fast with multiplication, division, and less than/greater than. Man....
