Ever hear of a little youthful exhuberance? Doesn't look like any of these guys are being forced to do this, and if nothing else, it looks like they're having a great time. People around here do it all the time, greek and non greek. Cabin fever strikes everyone.

I don't see anything "stupid" about this - it just looks like they are goofing around and having fun. That is still permitted, isn't it?

Haha... I used to do that all the time partying up at the cottage; nothing like jumping into a snowbank in boxers - heck I'll probibly do it again this winter either at Bala in one of "Boxers & Bras" bashes around New Years... or failing that at the New Years party at the cottage... before we cut a hole in the ice for a dip

I can't get the video to load.

From the posts I take it members are jumping into a snow bank in their boxers.

I would have done this when I was in school

That's nothing. Certain fraternities used to jog through our Sorority Circle completely in the buff.

The only thing stupid about this is that hoosier spends so much time looking for things like this.

No laws were broken, no one was hurt, it was kids having fun.

I can see the pledge's first letter to mom:

Dear mom:

I pledged Phi Delt.

To show everyone how great the fraternity is, we invited all the sorority girls to come stand outside the house, we all took off our clothes, painted ourselves Phi Delt blue, and ran outside to show our spirit.

To prove we have spirit, we're posting the video on a public website.

Phi Delts are great.

Love,

Little Johnny

PS: While we were painting ourselves, some paint got spilled on the couch and carpet, and we have to pay to replace them. Please send me $211.45 for my share.

PPS: Do not tell the Phi Delt headqtrs. or Dean Woermer.

Personally I think my mom would get a good laugh out of it... after all she painted herself purple with the rest of the engineers up here . She helped my brothers and some of the other university players dye their hair blue for the hockey playoffs (to bad one guy's hair treatment reacted and turn his hair bright green).

Actually do you guys have the whole purple engineers down in the US as well?

No harm, no foul.

I can see how pictures like this could be misinterpreted and agree that putting them on the web may not be the brightest thing to do in the present Greek climate -- no weather pun intended.
