Cute things kids say

My 2 little cousins that I live with are terribly cute, but very mishievous and get their share of spankings, which their father calls "Butt bustings". The kids can't pronouce this correctly, and will run through the house saying,

"I don't want no bus buttons!"

What are some things that your children or children that you know have said when they're in trouble that just makes you want to laugh?

OMG. My niece is 4 and acts like she's 20. She's so dramatic and talks way above the normal speaking level of a 4 year old, so she says many things that we're just like "WTF where did she learn that?"

One day I was standing in the family room and she goes "Zizi Phyllis, move" and I'm like why? And she goes "Jesus is behind you". I got a lil freaked out and just looked at my sister in law and she pointed to the picture of a Saint holding baby Jesus on the wall behind me. My niece is pretty religious for her age and already knows by heart 2 different "graces".

Oh forgot about this one. Walking around Bed Beth & Beyond. I'm following my niece around with the freaking basket mind you... my mom is shopping around. My niece starts saying loudly "Have you seen my grandma? I'm lost." I was gona die.

My nephew is quite the little joker. When anyone asks him how old he is, he says he's 6. He's only 2. I mentioned to my brother that his son would most likely be the first in his crowd to have a fake i.d.

My roomie was singing "Tomorrow" from Annie for her then-one-year-old daughter, and she sang, "the sun will come out..." and Kelly sang, "Two-Mow-Woe!". My roomie was stunned, but each time she sang it, Kelly sang "Two-Mow-Woe!"

Kellly's older now, and HATES to be reminded of it! So of course, we do all the time!

When my oldest daughter was about 4 or so, we were in a hurry to get dressed to go out to dinner.

Her hands and face (and arms and legs) were a bit dirty, but we didn't have for a full out bath. I told her to get stripped down to her underwear and get in the bathroom, so I could give her a spit bath.

She stalled and stalled...finally I got plain annoyed and said "Elizabeth, we have to get ready. We are going to be late. Now get in that bathroom so I can give you a spit bath."

Where upon she started wailing..."I don't want you to spit on me!!!"

Okay so I work a million jobs just to keep myself from living with the folks...Anyways M-F I work for Head Start and the weekends are spent working at one of our grocery stores. So like always I see former and current students come in my line. Today I saw one of my kiddies and got my usual response "YOU WORK HERE TOO MISS JEN?!" Okay so its not exactly cute, but its kinda funny at times.

When a kid asks why it's raining, I think it's cute to tell him that "God is crying". When he asks why God is crying, I think another cute thing to say is "probably because of something you did."

Those are all so funny!!!!

My son is only 18mo and not saying a whole lot of sentences yet, but he's kind of funny when he wants applesauce. He calls it apple-sob-bee and says it in a low deep voice like he's some kind of mean warrior or something. Kind of have to hear it to find it funny.

I thought this was hysterical! My mom took my 2 1/2 year old niece to swim class. While they were in the locker/ dressing room, there was a little boy (also in the class) about the same age running around naked. My niece went up to my mom and said, "Look Grandma, that little boy has an adorable little tail." Everone in the locker room fell over laughing!!!!!!
I swear to you this is a TRUE story.

This isn't necessarily "cute" but it's funny! When my niece was first starting to learn how to use silverware she couldn't quite pronounce fork. Instead it came out sounding like f*ck. Yikes! The funny part was when my brother and sister in law were out at a restaurant she once started yellling "I want a f*ck! I want a f*ck!!" I wish I had been there to see how red their faces were.

My goddaughter is 18 months old and her immediate response to anything she does wrong is "I sorry. I fix it." Well, she got into my purse one night while I was babysitting her and she put my cell phone in the toilet. I was extremely upset. I said, "That is VERY BAD. You're going to sit in the corner with NO TOYS for 5 minutes." Of course she knew she needed to do something to keep from getting punished. So she said "I sorry. I fix it.", reached INTO the toilet, got my phone out, dabbed it with some toilet paper, and handed it to me (soaking wet). I just laughed. There was no way I could be mad after that.
