Angry I'm sick!

And I have to be well by Thursday, because that's Initiation!! I've been doing the Vitamin C/raw garlic/soup thing, and I just bought some Zycam. Has anyone used that stuff before? Does it work? It tastes like cardboard, so it better. The grocery store didn't have any of that Airborne stuff, and I'm not dragging my sick butt out right now, so it'll have to do.

And I'm bored!!

My papaw used to say they told him in the Army that if you had a cold, you could go to bed and rest and be better in about 2 weeks. But if you didn't go to bed and kept your regular routine, you'd be better in 14 days. True or not, who knows. I always like to pamper myself when I'm feeling under the weather.

My mom still insists that the best thing for a cold (I'm assuming that's what's wrong?) is rest, Vitamin C, and chicken soup.

Try some decaffinated green tea. I don't know if it will work, but I think it has a mild anti-biotic effect.

Green tea is great in the morning. It totally flushes out the yucky stuff in your system.

Add me to the sick list! I've had to cancel my appointments and interviews today. I don't know where this came from... but I haven't left my bed all morning. My kleenex and Tylenol Cold Syrup are my best friends today.

I've been using the Zicam nasal swabs and they have worked like a charm for me. So far this cold hasn't been nearly as severe as the ones I usually get. *crosses fingers*

Feel better soon!
