piercings
I'm wondering what all of you think about body piercings. Do you have any yourself? What do you think when you see someone with piercings? I personally have my labret pierced, and I did have my septum pierced, but I took it out.

I've had my ears pierced of course multiple times in the same hole because of them growing shut over time. I got my cartilage pierced when I was a frosh in college and for a whole year I could not sleep on the side that had been pierced...at least not comfortably. And I couldn't take it out because it would grow shut if I tried. So all and all, not a wonderful experience and rather stupid now that I'm older.
I was gonna get my belly button pierced while I was in Reno over Spring Break but it was too far away from where we were staying. And since I've been back I haven't given it another though until now, so I suppose I was gonna do it, JUST to do it.
I do have a tatoo so I have done some wilder things other than my cartaliage...but I guess it depends on how badly you want the piercing and if you'll be comfortable showing it off.
Furthermore I'd like to remind you that someday you WILL go out into the workforce and most places frown upon piercings...including too many in the ear. So I'd keep that in mind.
Good luck with your decision.

I have my belly button pierced & my ears pierced once. I like eye brows piercings, on certain people. Little studs on the outsude of the nose look cute on the right person. It all depends on your style. Piercings can be taken out, so it isn't forever. Other peoples' piercing don't bother me much. I didn't really like all the pictures of female genitalia piercings when got my belly button done, but hey, to each their own!

Piercings ahh love them. I love the bad boy image so of course piercings are up there on my list of turn ons. Noticed a lot more guys having both ears pierced which I didn't like @ first but now thing is SO awesome. Boys from Crazy Town...love their piercings. When I got my navel pierced it was such a rush for me. Or maybe it was just the pain. Anyways...I want more!

I have a single piercing in each ear and I also have my bellybutton pierced. Believe it or not, I was 32 when I got my bellybutton done. I had worked my butt off to reacquire a nice, tight tummy after I had two babies and it was my way of celebrating

OK, here's a little piece of trivia....
I have NEVER had any part of my body pierced, including my ears. (I'm in my early 30's) So many people just trip when they realize I have "virgin ears"! It comes in handy if I am playing "I Never."

Since I'm such a rebel
I have both ears double pierced, my cartilage pierced in my left ear, and my belly button pierced. My boyfriend ried to con me into getting my tongue pierced, but i don't think so :P

I used to have my belly button pierced...but it became too much of a hassle that I took it out.
I had my nose pierced but I took that one out too.
I had my cartilage pierced once on each ear, but only one's left because the other one formed a keloid (it's damn gross I tell you).
The only one left is my tongue ring and I've had that for 3 years already.

I have both my ears pierced, which grow back on a regular basis. (So when I want to wear earrings, I just shove them through the scar tissue... it doesn't even hurt anymore).
I got my navel pierced about 5 or 6 years ago. I have never gotten an infection, and didn't take super-good care of it (nothing extraordinary).
I've wanted my eyebrow pierced since high school, but haven't done it mostly out of respect for my mother (who hates any kinds of piercings on anyone).
I love guys with piercings. Except the nose, for some reason?
Guess I'm just a rock star at heart

I only have my ears pierced, one hole in each ear. I am actually against piercing anywhere else on my body. If other people want to pierce elsewhere then more power to them. My best friend got her cartilage pierced and she also had trouble sleeping on her side. Then puss started coming out, and then it turned red, then it would bleed.... it was very nasty. I felt bad for her, but it got better over time. So, i only have two holes total and im happy with that.

Lately, I've been obsessed with the idea of piercing my navel, but I'm too chicken to do it. Also, I know my entire family would think badly of it, so I would never want to disrespect them by doing it.
I got a clip on, but it fell off within 10 minutes! LOL! So much for that
I've thought about cartilidge but I've been told it hurts so badly I've given up on that idea.
Ever since I turned 21, I've realized that I've been too goody goody my whole life and kind of want to do something crazy - but not permanent. Who knows, maybe I will...

I had the top cartiledge in my ear pierced for years. It didn't really give me many problems until recently - I developed a big 'ole lump of scar tissue (according to my dermatlogist.) It was so painfull to sleep on that side that I had to take it out.
I also had my tongue pierced last year. (Spontaneous thing while backpacking through Europe.) I got bored with it and took it out when I got home. It was only in for six months but I still have a little lump on the underside of my tongue. To anyone considering the tongue piercing - people tried to tell me it wouldn't hurt that bad but it was horrible! Swollen as all heck for two days then difficult to eat for an entire week.

I have my navel done, and I did it my frosh year in college. My mom told me that only sluts have that done.. I laughed cause my dad said it was cute.I have had it for three years and I love it! I also have double piercings in my ears and my cartilage.. I wanted my tongue but naah... my mom would KILL ME!!! So... The navel piercing didn't hurt, the clamp does, though, cause of how tight it is!! Ouch! The needle didn't bother me!

I had my nose pierced, but, alas, had to take it out to get a "real" (and I use that word lightly...) job.
I miss it!!
