Public misbehaving stories
What kind of antics did you pull when you were a kid? It can be anywhere, church, stores, parks, whatever. How did your parents discipline you?

I don't remember acting up too much in public. My parents raised me from a very young child on "how to act in public". Some stuff I see sometimes with kids, I know my parents would have beat my ass if I pulled that............I do remember if we had company over and I got bratty or whiny, my parents were not embarrased to yell at me in front of guests to put me in my place. I think some parents these days are afraid to do this, and give their kids whatever they want to prevent them from throwing a tantrum. I learned through their example, that when I acted like that though, the only one I was embarassing was myself though .

The same with my parents but that still didn't stop me from goofing off every now and then.
I behaved the worst at church. I threw coins and peppermints at the people in front of us. I crawled under the pews, whenever people weren't looking. I had a plethora of offering envelopes that I liked to lick the glue off (ewwww), it tasted like peppermint. Sometimes I randomly yelled "thank you Jesus!" and started dancing. Eventually my mom would grab me, take me into the church bathroom, and spank my ass. The next Sunday, I usually behaved. Then the Sunday after next, I went back to my old behavior. It was a cycle.
My folks finally put me in choir to burn off some of the energy. Well, participating in the choir must have burned too much of my energy, I was known to fall asleep in the choir stand!
I was really bad in laundromats too. Me and cousins had races with those roller baskets. We went to the soda machines to get soda, we pour them in the washers. We took tons of washing powder to stop up the toilets. At the same time, our grandpa was in the TV room watching "The Price is Right". We like never got caught.

I usually behaved pretty well since my parents put the fear of God in me. One look from either of them was all in took to get me to stop doing something bad.
I worst that I ever did was one time when my mom brought me to Neiman Marcus. There were snow globes on display. I thought the case they were sitting on was a revolving case so I tried spinning it. It wasn't. I knocked the whole case down. The snow globes broke into a million pieces. I embarrassed the hell out of my mom. She still hasn't forgiven me.

Speaking of church, me and my girlfriends at the time all went to Sunday school together. We used to terrorize the boys in Sunday school growing up. We made like 5 teachers quit because of our mortifying behavior. To this day, my mom still brings this stuff up, as well as one particular boy we used to give holy hell to. Then as I grew into a teen, I used to do bad stuff . We used to go on those "religious retreat" trips with the Minister, and I am going straight to hell for this one, but I remember being in the very back of the Minister's station wagon making-out with one of the boys..........

I'm really prone to getting the giggles, and I have been since I was little. One time when I was about 5, my mom took me to the wedding of a girl she worked with, and something about the singer struck me as hilarious because I started cackling like a hyena. My mom tried to put her hand over my mouth to muffle the sound, but everyone kept staring anyway. I know she had to have been embarrassed. To make matters worse, there was a baby crying at the same time as I was laughing my head off, so everyone in the church thought it was me that was crying. Tons of people came up to me after the wedding to ask why I'd been crying. Now I know that embarassed my mom.

I was probably 3 or 4 and we were shopping for a birthday gift for one of my friends. I decided instead to pitch a fit about the toy I wanted. My mom yanked my behind up so fast and took me to the bathroom and spanked me that I NEVER pitched a fit for a toy again. In fact I would rarely even ask for anything at all at the store unless it was Christmas or close to my bday.
One time in church the childrens choir was singing in front of the church. I was about 5 and decided I was going to give everyone a show. I stood there through the entire song flipping my dress up and down. The entire church could see my panties. My mom was ready to crawl under the pew.

Isn't that the reaon you go to youth group meetings and church retreats as a teenager? Parents think you are safe and well protected with the church kids. Little do they realize....

From the time we were kids to this very day, my family will not let me and my cousin sit together at weddings or funerals. He always says something off the wall and I can't stop laughing. That cowboy is one funny dude.
