Then there wouldn't be a Mallrats, a Chasing Amy, a Dogma, or a Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back... it is a good series.

Sequels do not neccessarily equal bad. I think it will be great, as Kevin Smith is actually going to be behind the camera again (not just producing.) I don't think the color aspect will detract from the story. The only reason the first was in B&W was because it was cheaper.

I can't wait to see it. The only one out of the series that I didn't like was Chasing Amy, and that was purely because of the ending.

I can't wait to see this one. Kevin Smith has become a big fan of myspace (he has his own and posts blogs there on an almost daily basis) so there was a contest to see who could add a specific myspaced profile and the first 10,000 people to add it get their names added to the credits of clerks ii.

If it's a major post he puts it both places, but his blog on myspace is updated everyday when he is in town pretty much. Newsaskew.com quoted an article about Kev the other day which included:
