Actually, a recent toy...
Last year's Disney Madame Alexander dolls...
My favorite McDondald's game was the 70's and 80's Olympics game. You scratched off a team and a medal; if the USA won that event, you got a prize. You would go to the store each week for the postings on a big cardboard cutout. Mr. Silver thinks this game was too variable for a major company to offer....
Good thread!

I always loved the Teenie Beanie Babies!! In high school I would buy all of these Happy Meals just to get them. Who knew years later I would marry someone who works for McDonalds and have Happy Meal Toys coming out of my ears. Including all those Teenie Beannie Babies!!

Love the thread!
My favorite was in 2003 for the 100 years of Walt Disney. One hundred characters were produced in colorful plastic "statues" standing on a base with the name of the character and the year of the film.
I've collected around 90 of them. (Thank ya eBay!)

Stuffed muppets were good... Was mildly obsessed with the first batch of "Teenie Beanie Babies" when I was a freshman in h.s.

Definitely the Teenie Beanies, I spent a good deal of time trying to get a Teenie Beanie to match a regular-sized one that each of our children had. Thought I'd lose my mind until I was finally able to get a little goldfish for Baby Berry!

I'm liking the Madame Alexanders Mickey-D's is presently offering. So far I have the hopscotch girl, the soccer girl and the equestrienne girl.
I'm not kidding; I like Happy Meals as much as the next guy!

McDonalds' (at least i think it was McD's) had Pound Puppies and Pound Kitty stuffed animals in the Happy meals one year. Also, I remember when around Halloween time, instead of your happy meal coming in a box, it would come in a plastic bucket that was decorated as either a ghost or pumpkin and you could use it to trick or treat with.
Happy meals were so much cooler in the 80s and early 90s!

I remember the transformer thingys that looked like McDonald's food but turned into dinosaurs or robots or something. I loved them for some reason! I also loved the Mario 3 toys with the jumping turtles and the flipping Goomba.

I always liked the Kid's Meals at Burger King more because they always had the deals with Disney back in the day!

I went and bought a Happy Meal yesterday and they actually have those dolls again.
As for the Teenie Beanie Babies, I lucked out both times they had em because my cousin worked for McDonalds' at the time and she ended up buying both sets for me in full so I didn't have to keep on going back and buying and eating!
I wonder how much they're all worth now...?
