Not real sure of the circumstances, but long term, your own house would be best. Don't worry about having places to throw parties, you can rent places and then put all risk management responsibilities onto them. Secondly, parties at fraternity houses usually end up in some sort of trouble. And if you postpone getting a house in the near future, it'll only take that much longer to get it later....think long-term instead of short-term. I wish we did when I was in school - we'd have a decent house NOW, instead of still working for it.
