YES! I am ready for FOOTBALL!!!

Favorite College team: VA Tech. GO HOKIES!!! Can anyone stop Michael Vick?

Favorite Pro Team: Green Bay Packers. They will return as a superbowl caliber team after a dismal year last year.

Super Bowl Team: I'm going to say the Bears. I'm not sure why, but I think they're due.

In case you were wondering

My favorite college team is Texas A&M

My favorite pro team (will be) the new Houston team, right now my primary team is the Dallas Cowboys.

My pick for the National Championship:
Texas A&M (with Virgina Tech as the runner up)

My pick for the SuperBowl: Tennessee Titans
(with Washington or St. Louis as the runner up)

I'm picking Alabama for the national championship, even though I am a devout HOKIE. VT needs to rebuild the defense. I think that we will have a top 10 finish but not as good as last year.

Greetings to the PHIne Men of Phi Beta Sigma:

I AM SO READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!

I have to agree with ZetaAce, the Crimsontide will definitely win the National Championship this year! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!! I LOVE me some Alabama!!!

Superbowl: I LOVE the Dallas Cowboys so obviously I'll pick them!

Has anyone seen the current issue of Sports Illustrated? Michael Vick is on the cover posing in the Heisman pose. The article is good also.

Michael Vick is on the cover of almost every sports magazine there is. I get SI and ESPN the magazine and of course he is on both. You should see him play in person, it's amazing and a lot better than on TV!

I am going to see my HOKIES play on August 26th, so I am TOO excited! And then the next day, I get to go to SummerSlam. Talk about a great weekend.

Peace & Blessings

Well, as a New Yorker, of course my two favs are the Giants and the Jets.
I love them both, but I don't think that they're going anywhere this year but back to the locker room. (Did you see the Giants game Friday nite? That should tell you something.)
The Titans are definately ready to take home those Superbowl rings.

College: I have no favorites in Division I but, I'm always rooting for Tuskegee and Howard.

What's up to all my B.G.L.O.'s i guess i should put my $19.06 in before this gets out of hand. FSU will repeat as National Champs. Vick does have some talent but he needs to learn how to pass from the pocket and not run the ball all the time. May be he can win it all his JR year but far as this year. It's all about the 'NOLES. Far as pro i don't watch it a whole lot but i'll have to go with Warrick Dunn and his Bucs.

Question

St. Louis and Tampa Bay looked good this past week. Washington looked average and
Dallas looked bad.

Who do you think will win this week's matchups in the NFL?

Yes, I did skip over the colleges because my team (Texas A&M) was outscored this weekend. BUT, if you want to discuss the upcoming college games please do.

Yeah, well my Packers lost in a last minute heartbreaker

However my Hokies kicked butt!!

KingTut- Vick is the most talented QB on college football today. Watch him Thursday night on ESPN when VT takes on ECU.

YES THANK GOD FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE.

Yes I am a female, and Yes I LOVE FOOTBALL, this year I hope that the Carolina Panthers do something great cause they are my home state team.

EMMITT SMITH IS THE BEST RUNNING BACK!

Does anyone know if Cunningham is taking Atkins place permanently on the Cowboys team?

GO CUNNINGHAM YOU REPRESENT!

COWBOYS, FALCONS, AND PANTHERS ARE THE BOMB-Buffalo Bills and Redskins suck.

LSU kicked WCU's butt. WCU kicked Lenoir Rhyne's butt. Hopefully, they'll win more games this year. (Oppps...they already have they won one.) -Just a little spirit for my school team.

My highlight teams I'll be watching-Cowboys, Bears, Falcons, Panthers, Redskins, Titans.

I'm picking the cowboys too, but I don't expect Aikman to play the whole game. As long as my Packers win, I will be happy.

I'm also picking the Jets over the Bucs (yup, you read it here first). They are going to play hard just so Keyshawn will shut the hell up! *laughs*

The Cowboys decided the other day that Troy Aikman will start against the 49ers this weekend.

I think this is a mistake for two reasons;

1) Troy needs more time to fully recover from his head injury.

2) Randall gives the Cowboys a much more potent offense with his ability to scramble and make things happen.

With that being said, I pick the Cowboys over the 49ers in a VERY CLOSE game.
