Rho Omega & Sigma Psi

As a member of the Sigma Psi Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon, I would like to thank the Rho Omega Chapter for the hospitality given to all Sigma Psi members who traveled to Columbia, SC for the annual Clemson vs. USC Football Game.

Sigma Psi (Clemson University Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon) and Rho Omega (University of South Carolina - Columbia Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon) joined up to see the Tigers battle the Gamecocks in one of the most anticipated games of the year for the students of Clemson University and USC -Columbia. As long-time rivals, it was refreshing to be amongst a group of gentlemen who could look past the fact that Clemson students bleed orange and take us into their home and give us a place to lie our heads safely.

A tailgating event was held also which included, but was not limited to:
  • A mechanical bull
  • Some AWESOME BBQ
  • A 30-Foot Projection Screen Equipped with Satellite Reception to watch the big game!

It was a weekend not to be forgotten! I have heard talks of collaborating for Carolina Cup (100+ Tekes between two tents would be awesome!) and I hope this becomes a tradition of Sigma Psi and Rho Omega each year. You are always welcome guests of the Sigma Psi Chapter here at Clemson University!

Thank you, fellow Fraters, you have only strengthened the bond that we all share!

Sincerely and YITB,

Jacob P. Hoskins
Clemson University

As much as I would love to take credit for everything that went on...we really have to thank our alumni who provided us with most of that stuff...one even drove down from Virginia with all the stuff (tent, bull, TV screen, etc) and allowed us to us it at a very cheap price. Our alumni association also provided the food as well. The tailgate was definitly the best tailgate by any fraternity of the year...and probably one of the best in the history of tailgating. Thanks to all the guys from Clemson that came out early in the morning and helped us set up and those that stuck around and helped pack everything back up. We definitly have to get together for some other event this season (Carolina Cup, maybe USC-Clemson basketball or baseball game or something)...hopefully this can become an annual thing.

college of charleston

There was a booming, from the grass roots, colony at the C of
Charleston. The school officials were livid. They killed it.
The college thought there was not enough room...maybe so.
There is a chapter at the U of Charleston, WV...(Theta Omega)
and it was chartered in '62, still active.
