Did anyone watch last night. Well I can say that I enjoyed this years show much better than last year. It was good to see LL as usual, and it was really good to see Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5. I had forgotten that Cowboy had died, and I see that Mellie Mel is still rocking that jail house looking body.

When Salt and Pepa came out with Envogue I was like that it's and I was ready to turn the TV off. Man I am so glad that I didn't because Bid Danddy Kane was off the chain. Did y'all see Common get down and break dance, and when the Big Daddy himself got out there and started dancing and rapping...man that brought back memories...I'm sorry but that was rap from all those people last night.

I must admit that I really didn't enjoy the tribute to Biggie...I don't know what it was...but I just didn't. Also I was like Mrs Wallace just wrote a book detailing that she doesn't like Puffy and Lil Kim, so it looked fake and phony on her part with Puffy. Also, Faith's dressed...nope wasn't feeling it at all...that was not a good look for her at all. I will say one thing, good thing Like CJ takes after his mother because he is a cute little boy.

When Nelly came out to do the tribute to LL I was thinking "Boy go give LL his clothes back! Stay outta his closet" But he did look like how LL did when he was that size. I could have lived w/o Ciara (what does she do again?) If you saw the b/w interview they did with him in between the performances and how he looks now you can see he got some work done on his face (I don't care that he won't admit it he did!)

I loved the part with Big Daddy! I even liked when Common and Black Thought did his parts (they both ripped it) and which one of BDK's dancers was with him Scoob or Scrap? Anywhoo to see him still do some dances that was classic!

Ahem to those still puttin' Biggie name out there: HE IS DEAD LET IT GO!! Why must every award show have to have a montage of him! First of all I am mad they put him in before they did (feel free to chose one) Tribe, De La, Latifah, Lyte, EPMD, Eric B and Rakim, NWA, Cube and I could go on..

Kim is sittin in jail screamin @ Faith- I was supposed to do that!
I could clearly see why Lil' Cease has no rap career.

All in all it was a good show. It was good to see Kwame, Dana Dane and D-Nice in the early parts before the show.

Oh yeah, what was the point of Kanye doing golddigger? Say it with me "Overrotation!"

Run and Russell are funny to me. RIP JMJ!

at Nelly doing LL, but once he started, I was like YEAH!! you go boy!!! He did a great job....which was quickly brought down by Ciara..all she did was dance, and wasnt she 3 or 4 when that song came out? lol...

I'on care if LL had work done, he still fine. He may have the kind of skin that just doesn't age.

Kane still had it..... WHEW!!!!!!

Salt n Pepa and the original En Vogue!!! YES!!!!! Everyone looked nice.

I see Nia cut her hair again...I'm right behind her.. lol.. Where was Cube, though? Anthony Anderson was off the chain as usual.

At first when I saw Nelly come out, I was like this is not going to be good, but Nelly ripped it, but I was not feeling him in the clothes...I was like that is for LL and LL only even back then. I agree there was no need for Ciara to be out there at all....

Yes looking at old pics of LL and then him talking now, the one thing that I know for sure that he had work done was his teeth, but I don't care what he had done...he still looks good.

Also, did you see LL standing when everyone was singing...that is what I'm talking about. He was mouthing the words to like all the songs....

When Lil Cease was up there doing what he called rapping, yes I see why he doesn't have a career anymore as well. He was the PITS!!!!!!!

Per this book that Mrs Wallace has written she said that she doesn't like Puffy and Lil Kim because they capitalized on him after his death. ....but I'm saying she is getting money from this as well, and from what Faith has said, she gave her all and everything that was left to her (Faith) from Biggies death. Now she has said that if she had it to do over again, she wouldn't have gone that way.

I think he's dragging it out a bit, but the man was his best friend? Lil Kim needs to just stop, she was only his mistress, so she needs to stop acting like she and he were in some long term, serious relationship. I never heard Faith say anything negative about Biggie, and I'm sure she could have.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's sick and tired of Biggie tributes. It's just too much already. Let the man Rest In Peace, for real. I turned the show off when that came on.

I thought Nelly did a good job of doing LL. I was suprised. He reallly looked like him too, in the body, that is.

Big Daddy Kane ripped it last night! That was what I was waiting for. Long Live the Kane!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH (At the top of my lungs) Did ya'll see my ba... I mean LL last night? He was great. I thought Nelly did a good job with "I'm Bad". Ciara was ok, but I really didn't want to see her "jigglin'" baby.

The most ignant mess of the evening - Ice-T, Snoop Dogg, and Duan Juan (I am not calling him Bishop anything - he is glamourizing pimps). Ice-T looks like the old man at the club. Please tell him to stop it. I'm so sick of his "pimpin'" stories I could throw up.

Salt N' Pepa - loved it. Common break dancing & B. Daddy Kane dancing - those were hot.

When I think of Hip Hop legends, I really don't think of Biggie. Shoot, if you're gonna honor Biggie, honor Tupac!

I so agree with you that yup Mrs. Wallace is still cashing those checks. Nope aith hasn't ever said anything negative that I have heard of about Mrs. Wallace or Biggie, but in the article I was reading which I think it was Upscale or Jet...she made mention that she basically gave everything to Mrs. Wallace and if she had it to do all over again.....it wouldn't have gone down that way.

Speaking of hoeish Lil Kim, they said on the radio this morning that they cut the weave out of her hair, and she is not happy about it. Apparently now her hair is of different lengths and she doesn't like how it looks....I think this is so funny. I mean where did she think she was going......

Yes they were, and all I kept thinking was after Big Daddy did his thing was......look at him he is looking around seeing who has the oxygen for him to succk up...but I won't lie when Common and Black Thought were doing their thing...I was like yeah get it....and then when Big Daddy came out...I was no more good. I thought the show was headed nowhere fast when Nelly came out there, but he did really good with his part. Ciara on the other hand...

Cuba? Morris? Larry? Where were they for the Boyz n the Hood tribute? That movie put them on the map. They could've at least shown up or did an interview.

Salt N Pepa were good. Spin just looks lost (kinda like Michelle from Destiny's Child). EnVogue needs to put out another cd.
