Spandex.....
Does anyone here still wear spandex? I'm not talking about jeans or other clothes with a blend of spandex. I'm talking about the tight, shiny spandex: either for working out or pleasure?
What are your opinions on spandex?

Yep. I wear spandex shorts and tights for running, rowing, and biking. I am OK with my ass in spandex. It's an occupational hazzard.

just curious
Someone said spandex went out in the 80's. I could get away with it but i think spandex is so tacky. I understand guys wear it for sports because they need the support. BUt what support would we need. Just wondering if anyone here just liked the spandex for the hell of i or is it really out.

LMAO at the deletion of my post about wearing tight spandex for pleasure.

My thoughts on spandex? It's a priviledge, not a right.

camel toe
i used towear spandex like in elementary school, but then again i didn't know what camel toe was. lol. Now i think it's discgusting. Atleast cover it up. It's not hard to thro something on top, like a pair of wind shorts or something.

It makes sense for certain sports, like cycling. Bike shorts often have padding, which makes indecency a little less likely.

Spandex is just wrong on so many levels. Unless it is absolutely necessary (i.e you are a competive athlete and it is necessary for your sport...see rowing or cycling) then NO ONE should wear it. Period.

It wouldn't be so bad if people that weigh 800 pounds did not insist on wearing it all the time.

Is anyone else having flashbacks to the Olivia Newton-John video "Physical".... or am I just dating myself?
