Wanna-haves!!!

I know that we all want a blinged out, diamond-edged pin, the latest (name your favorite designer) purse/shoes/clothes, a designer engagement ring, etc, etc...

...but what about those things you want, are somewhat more attainable, but just haven't bought or figured out how to do it yet?

One of those wanna-haves I conquered about a year ago - I found the perfect hairdresser, for me! She knows that I am miserable with short hair, and to hide the scar I have in my scalp from a particularly bad car accident I was in.

Another is something I'm working on: I want enough clear (not frosted, clear!) shoeboxes to store my shoes, and a nice rack to store them on. I have a mental picture of how I want to do this, and can't wait to follow through. I quietly pick up a shoebox or two each time I go to WalMart or Target (both have my favorite style), and hope to get the rack someday. Neat shoes... what a concept!!

I also wanna-have a California Closet. Now, barring a move or an addition, this probably won't happen - but that doesn't mean I don't want it!!

I wanna-have an organized media room. Both the tv & the computer in the same place, with lots of shelves!!

I wanna-have a hotline from the ADPi Suite to my house, to let me know when they need what, when and if they made Quota, etc.

I could go on and on, but I'm sure y'all have some wanna-haves of your own. SOOOO, what are they?

So don't think I'm super materialistic, but there is a beautiful diamond and platinum ring from Tiffany & Co. I have been drooling over it for quite awhile, just biding my time. However, my patience may have paid off and this will be attainable soon! Mr. Lonestar is meeting with some people in Austin this next week and this meeting will probably lead to a promotion and a niiiice pay raise!

I want someone to come and organize my stamping room. It is a diseaster area right now!! I guess this isn't attainable, what about me having the time to organize it myself?

I want a new purse. My current purse is really cute, but i can't get a darn thing out of it in a timely manner. I'm having to call people back all the time b/c I can't get to my phone! Ugh! But I am going to a new mall tomorrow, there is hope!

I wanna have a new house... that is all ours.... that we own... never been lived in by anyone else... free to be decorated and painted to my hearts content.... and then I want the time and money to do the decorating and painting. We don't need the main furniture, that we have. Just the few extra pieces like a rocker and Lazy Boy that match our couch and a guest bed and eventually, a nursery set. Also, we don't need pictures/ prints, cause those I have way too many of anyways, just a nice way to organize them stylishly on the walls.

I want the social life back that I had in college! Tons of girlfriends to call just anytime about anything.

I want a roommate again! It may sound crazy, but I have been living by myself for 4 years now, and I MISS having a place that I share with a good friend.

These are actually both in the works right now, so hopefully I WILL attain them in the next few months.

I just moved into a new condo and I went from having huge closets to one small closet, so I needed an organization system like the California Closets. I actually got the Elfa closet from the Container Store. It was so much cheaper and my dad and I were able to install it ourselves. Plus you are able to completely customize it to the sizeof your closet and what you want in terms of shelves, drawers, and hanging space. It came out really well.

I'll have to look at the ELfa closet. My bedroom at my mom's house has an older California Closet, but when I visited a (rich) friend in La Jolla, I discovered the reality of a true California Closet! It's like its own room!!!!

I want to sleep through the night for two nights in a row. I can't imagine how rested I would feel! Every now and then (maybe once every two months) I get one night. But two nights in a row would seem heavenly to me! Or I'd also love to be able to sleep in on weekends until 10am like I used to do before my children came along. I would not trade them for the world, but I wouldn't mind a little more shut-eye!

I wanna have time/money to re-do my kitchen floor and do my backyard.

I wanna have a "life" outside work.

Although I currently wanna have a congested free day (I just woke up severely congested and having a sneezing fit. UGH)

Bri- You just got a new house, you dont like the floor?

So many wants, but you did say obtainable, not a dream right? lol.

I want to sell our condo and I want to move to NC for good. I want to find a nice job like the one I have and find Ryan one too so we can move there. (I dont know if this is obtainable since we havent found him a job as good as he has now, yet)

I want kids. Now its very obtainable, but we keep waiting for more money, more time, more stuff and it seems like well wait forever since there is always somthing new you need first.

I second the wanting more friends. I used to be soooo super close to several people in HS and then in College with sorority sisters, but being out in the real world there is no time and everyone is so busy we've all lost track. Sure we send emails once a month or so, but I actually want people to hang out with and who I keep in touch with more. I miss them and I miss all the fun and great times.

I want more time. With work, we get sooo extremely busy and only time you get to relax is when you sleep. I havent felt a vacation since december when Christmas came. I want a real one lol.

As for that closet Honey, I have one like that at my parents and it is AMAZING. I loved it. I had a nice attic bedroom with a HUGE walk in as did my mom have a walk in. Ive missed that thing since I moved out to college.

First I had the tiny dorm closets that you shared with 3 people, then the small sorority closet, now I have nice closets in my condo, but there are like 3 in a room. I want a HUGE one, not 3 little ones lol.

If I buy a house, I am so getting a big closet no matter what lol. Even if I have to live in the thing ha ha. Ryan may make me with all my clothes lol.
