I don't get it. Where are these names from? I can see some of the names making sense but I have no idea how anyone came up with the others based on that person's name.

Wonder what his nickname is for Al Franken?

If it's printable, it might be Big Liar or Mr. No Talent.

These are names he made up himself. I'm guessing the person who compliled the list has either studied news clips or read transcripts and took the nicknames from there.

But they don't even make sense. And some are just bizarre. There is no way he called Putin "Pootie-Poot". I know he says stupid stuff all the time but this sounds too much like an SNL sketch.

I'd be interested in the sources the list was compiled from myself... I have heard Bush use the ones for Chretien, Rove (the Turd Blossom one), Powell, Frist, and Brown... so I have to wonder how many others are acurate as well.

That's actually not the first time I've heard that he calls Putin "Pootie-Poot". And yeah, without a reputable source list at hand it's hard to qualify some of the names, but I don't think it's a far stretch to assume that the same guy who calls Karl Rove "Turd Blossom" might call Vladimir Putin "Pootie-Poot".

But getting away from those for a minute - my favorite names on the list are the ones he reportedly has for Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein - he calls them Ali and Frazier.

I was under the impression that "Turd Blossom" was a rumor...

I have a distant relative that works for Cheney, I think he is the person who goes to places ahead of time before Cheney travels to set everything up. I don't really know, I haven't seen him in years. But I do know his nickname is "Coff" for Coffin, his last name. I think that if he has a nickname, everyone Bush has ever met probably has one. Bust must have someone who works for him that keeps track of it, I can't see him remembering them all, besides the obvious people.

Or.... the author could have just made them up himself.
