What is a tau?

Ok so I have been looking for a copy of what is a tau? I have found several different versions of this as odd as that seems. Does anyone know which one is right. Or have a copy of the right one?

If the version you are using has the skipping class line, I reccomend taking it out. It was on the one we posted on campus and the faculty go very upset about it. We never intended it to sound like we were slackers, but the faculty got pretty upset.

we had a version that talked about accepting a "beanie". I guess they used to have like little hats they wore, anyway I think we changed it to "letter shirt" or something like that.

Yeah skipping class is a part of college life! I dont know anyone that hasnt skipped a class.

While it may be a part of college life it isn't an image you should be promoting. We used the posters as part of a publicity blitz so they were all over campus. It was nice to know people read it, but I understand where the profs were coming from. My chapter tended to be good girls so we weren't known for poor grades, skipping class and being slackers.

Seriously though, it doesn't change it at all to just remove the one line if you are posting it on campus. It isn't worth the trouble if someone calls you on it. And again, its not an image to promote, even though we all miss a class or two.

I never saw the beenie thing in the poem...

Well I just wanted my own personal copy. Its not going anywhere but in my room! so yeah its ok.

Actually, a friend of mine - a senior! - is missing his first college class this week!

He is going to an engineering convention! That slacker.
