The premise that they are being discriminated against due to their religion seems pretty flimsy to me.

It's interesting that the school has announced though that they will punish individuals trying to reform expelled organizations. Sort of goes agains that whole freedom of association thing. The UD administration doesn't really seem to bother itself with annoying things like the Bill of Rights though.

I honestly think the only way they could win this suit is to prove that Jewish students are barred from membership in any other fraternity presently on campus. But for the U to go back on what they said - that they would allow the group to come back and now they're not because of a supposed meeting - is bogus.

Oh, and the fact that the article kept calling them "Alpha Epsilon" was REALLY annoying. I know some of these newswriters have no clue about anything Greek, but either use the entire name or ask the fraternity itself what their preferred nickname is.

I agree....it *IS* annoying. It reminds me of when I see pins being sold on Ebay when they say "Fraternity Pin from XI XI" and Xi Xi actually refers to the letters on the chapter guard, not the pin and fraternity itself.
