Your Idea Of A Fun Date
Ok, so last month I went on vacation with some friends and met this guy. We've stayed in touch and he's coming for a surprise visit tomorrow!!! I wanted to plan something fun for us to do...something besides the whole dinner and movie thing...so what is your idea of a fun date?

Bowling, batting cages, rock climbing (provided neither of you is scared of heights). If you guys are creative and like making things you can see if there's a place in the area where you buy a plaster thing and paint it.

Something that involves sex at some point - preferably while watching the OC and eating a hero.

Most fun date I ever had was at GameWorks (like Dave & Busters). I love to play like a kid and was so thrilled that I found someone who felt the same way.

D&B sounds good. Or maybe paintball if that's in your area (I hear it can be expensive, though). Is there a popular place where you guys could go just walk around (like in SF everyone goes to Pier 39). Someplace where there's sights or just a nice place to stroll through?

I like to go to a bar and have some drinks.

Local pizza place (local's are always better ) to eat, stop in at a quiet bar to talk a bit, maybe a stroll around a park/or a drive around, then to a (preferably) drive-in theatre

I don't care where we go for dinner, or what movie we see...as long as I'm doing the reverse cowgirl by the end of the night.

The last great date I went on was to a nice little restraunt and then to a jazz festival, then we watched fireworks. It was perfect.

haha, weird story...my boyfriend took me to a cemetary for our first date. Before you get all freaked out, it is an important Jewish cemetary, the tombstones are all in hebrew and they are HUGE, and it's on this really pretty hill, but it is in a mostly forgotten place in Pittsburgh. There were all sorts of swastikas painted on things too, it was creepy. He took me there because I'm a photographer and he though i'd want to see it . Then he took me to Eat N Park for food, and then we went and walked by the river for a while and talked..it was so sweet. It wasn't frilly or pretentious or uptight, it was just he and I in jeans and t shirts having a good time without being fake. And I still love him to this day

I think that's the essence of a really nice date. The guy knew what you were interested in (photography), honestly wanted to do something you'd enjoy (see a new place you might enjoy photographing), and figured something out from there. That's great.
