Elektra
List yours.

This is an old one: "Bonfire of the Vanities" (an old Tom Wolfe novel made into a movie starring Tom Hanks and Melanie Griffith. Did. Not. Work. )
"The General's Daughter". Awesome book, baaaaaaaad movie. Could have been great, though.

I was just going to mention that one - they have been showing it on one of the movie channels a few times the past couple of weeks. Definitely good potential, definitely a bad movie.

Good call. If only Spielberg ended the movie when the boy was underwater looking at the fairy princess. It would have been a brilliant movie. Instead, Spielberg wanted a happy ending, which ruined the entire movie.

agree with moe.ron, Punisher and Daredevil could have been better.
NOTHING could have saved Alexander (even cutting half the movie).
As for The General's Daughter, I personally thought it was good. I read the book and I have to say that it followed the book pretty consistantly. Yes, it did take dramatic license and it also cut things out but I've read books were they've made the movie and your wondering if they (the writers) even read the book because it is so bad.
And Troy, I just like seeing Brad's butt.

Phantom of the Opera could've been a good one. instead, Webber had to hire Schumacher.
